Why the hell would SuperNoVa even know what EG is? How do you know he's not just assuming that's the name of the event that HuK travelled to? How do you know it's not just HuK sitting next to him typing for him? I hardly see how that's conclusive.

Most people I spoke to were surprised that it didn't leak earlier. EG has been looking to sign a top foreigner for a while now. I'm told that they've made overtures to just about every top foreigner that is available/soon to be available.\ *edit I did contact SirScoots for an official statement. He said, "We signed Huk?" Twice, in fact."
"Salary is rumored to be right around six figures." HuK is good - great even - but if he's worth six figures then I'm apparently clueless as to the inner-workings of the professional gamer. I heard somewhere that Boxer was payed around $200,000 back in his heyday (not including sponsors and tournament winner). eSports has grown since then, but I doubt it's grown enough for an above-average player to be payed half of a bonjwa.
"The plan is for him to get an apartment." So this random chick is trying to tell everyone that HuK will stop practicing with the likes of MC? The reason Huk is so good is because he lives and practices just like the Koreans do. If he gives that up to go live by his lonesome, what do you think will happen to his tournament results?
I for one call that reddit post complete and utter bullshit.
Are you under the impression that by moving out of the oGs house, he suddenly stops being good friends with MC, et al.? That his practice partners just suddenly disappear?
If what you say is true that wtf is the point of pro-gaming houses in the first place.while they will still be his practice partners, to say it doesn't affect his game play than you are 100% wrong. Common knowledge isn't so common after all
PuMa still plays with his TSL bro's =/
If he does, it won't be as much as he used to. He no longer lives in the team house etc.
"I am very happy to join EG. Also, Mr. Lee and I have spoken recently, and we are on very good terms. I will keep in touch with him regularly, and I will also continue practicing with my old TSL teammates and other top players. So, I think the fans and the community should not be upset about this. They should be happy about it and be supportive of EG. They are giving me an amazing opportunity, which I am very grateful for." http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=247655
Having practice partners does not mean you are still living with them a progaming house. Coach Lee said he packed up his bags and left the TSL house. Nowhere in your post does it state that Puma is remaining in the TSL house.

So that post about CS:GO was NOT a troll/joke attempt.

Then I read rumours about HuK going to EG, then I read Heosat's "What I can say is this: it is the first item of a chain of news items. Sadly not all the items are good news. ". Now I'm sad. Is it now certain that HuK indeed goes to EG?
Is there any other reason other than money for HuK to join EG? And why the hell would EG want to buy him anyway? It would have to be pretty large sum of money (not saying it's the mentioned 6 figure) to persuade him to go to the pretty much most hated team out there and thus lose majority of his fanbase.
Agreed, although Eg may have idra fan boys as fans, beyond that its a pretty hated team. And for the most part huk fan boys and idra fan boys usually dont overlap. I dont see many huk fans being very happy about this transfer.
I certainly am not. Especially considering it seems like hes giving up the training environment that made him good in the first place for more money.
Given the fact that most progamers in Korea seem to work very tightly together during practice, and the fact that EGPuMa is still in the TSL-house, I'd say that if HuK indeed was to transfer to EG, he'd still have the same training.
How do you know Puma is still in the TSL house, i follow the news pretty closely where was this stated?
Liquid seems pretty upset about whatever the news is, so i doubt it was an amicable transfer, and i doubt they would let him stay there, Its the ogs TL house not the OGSTL EG house.
as far as i recall, alex mentioned it in his "defence"-post where he explained his side of things.
...That's because EG hadn't officially contracted Puma yet at the time of the interview, that's why EG was so delayed in responding, because the event was unexpectedly leaked by Coach Lee.

+ the fact that PuMa moved to EG, no way he hasn't heard of it.

You should also account for the fact that Koreans might not fully understand English.
You should also account for the fact that most Asian students learn english in school to be able to reach a level of being able to atleast read it.
I took Spanish classes at school and couldn't read something that complex in spanish...so that doesn't mean anything.
It is not the same. You learnt spanish just as a side subject.
English is taught very aggressively in Asian countries, not just as a secondary subject. it is expected that you can atleast comprehend english when you leave High School.
And before you ask how do I know, I grew up in Japan.

Yeah, I said that exact same thing to a few kids at my high school graduation. Want to know what they're doing now? No idea because I haven't talked to them since high school graduation >.<
That is YOUR FAULT! ... jk but seriously, this is huk profession. If it is him moving to EG it would be in his best interest (professionally) to keep in contact with the players from oGs.

I can just picture HuK "borrowing" Supernova's twitter and cackling maniacally lol
