Norway is not a neutral country, or a country that is not involved in war. Our special forces and air force was in combat in Afghanistan from the start, and since 2007 and on-wards our regular army has been in a shooting war in northern Afghanistan. We have done 10-20% of the bombing in Libya. From my perspective, it is not at all a surprise that this has happened at last. I am shocked and sick to my stomach, but not surprised by any means. To put things in perspective, Denmark has already averted terror attacks, and only chance stopped a suicide bomber from killing scores of people in Stockholm. I just hope this doesn't cause our government to change any policy, apart from the fact that we need to strengthen our security forces, which has been woefully decimated by budget cuts. This is the time to keep our heads raised, and not panic. | ||

dunno why the bbc is claiming car bomb when the damage in the building is clearly top heavy It look slike HE which could be gas ...t he problem though is that the volume of gas required for that blast would be extremley large adn the mix with air would ahve to be right ... then you nered the spark ... a blast that size would ahve to be deliberate The other consideration is that very few people were killed ... that suggests some prior warning As for people belonging to a small section of a larger religion that is gettign the blame .... consider this If your religion (and this is true of all religions) is being used by evil people under the name of good ... then by supporting that religion you are supporting the vehicle they use for their hate .... if you were really interested in morality you would publically refuse o be part of any religion on moral grounds despite what you privately believe. If it was muslim 'extremists' then it was muslims ... if you are muslim and gfeel like you are being tarred ... tough shit ... catholics and protestants have been blowing the crap out of the uk and ireland for years.
