I knew these things but didn't act on 'em. For example, I had no money with me so that cab was out of the question. Even if I did, I didn't know a cab service number (and it was a such a small campus, I almost doubt there even was). But besides that, I did find these logistics. She came by herself, wasn't drinking, and was invited because she worked with one of the guys that owned the house. Which meant she would be going back to her dorm and could have potentially drove us there if the need be.
Say I developed enough attraction with her, wouldn't the logistics not mean shit? She'd find a way around them to make it work.
So yes, I did figure this out within 10 minutes, albiet unconsciously and I didn't act on what I knew anyway. lol Between the two nights I know I need to work on escalating. How I'll do that is yet undecided though.
Also, I just ordered Mark's "Models" book. :D

Attraction does not mean shit. It does not mean she will sleep with you. After attraction comes comfort, qualification, vulnerability and a whole buncha other stuff.
Unless a girl is a slut, shes not going to make your logistics easy. 90% of the time, its up to you to make it happen, and its up to you to make it a spontaneous thing that "just happened naturally" when a girl tells her friend.

I completely agree. I think a lot of people get too wrapped up in generating attraction but forget that although attraction is necessary, it's only one piece of the puzzle. It's a common problem you see in people that study pick-up improperly. They tend to end up with a girlfriend that they can attract, but can't keep because there's more than mere attraction that is necessary for a healthy successful relationship, like some of the qualities you mentioned, along with generally having your shit together, having a lifestyle, having passion, etc.

All starts with attraction, then breaks off into numerous sublevels. I however, did figure the aggressive/assertiveness. We are men after all, not many women will make it easy, they just make themselves willing from what I've seen so far.
On another note, I found a full ebook on body langauge that was basically said to be like a concise/basic guide to body language, but seems great for people just getting into the stuff. Really nuts when I read some of the stuff and I'm like OH! I do that... or Oh! That is why that happens. One specifically was on the topic of building comfort and mentioning why having background music makes things easier in a social gathering; because people can find a "base" to sync to and mirror. Rapport I guess. And then I was like holy shit, that is why I like background music.

I don't think firing back was inappropriate, considering that not responding at all can look like a concession. Giving off the impression that you'll put up with verbal attacks from hot girls without defending yourself can paint you as a pushover for others.

Agreed. He dragged it way too far. When it comes to these types of things with girls you just gotta say your piece and move on if she tries to bog you down into an argument. Don't play her game of trying to make you look like the bad guy to all of her girlfriends + other acquaintances.
