The thing those people don't realize, is that they're trying to oversimplify what has been studied over THOUSANDS of years by litterature, painting, and art in general. Books have analyzed human behavior in a very systematic and profound way for a long time.
Why am I saying this? Because "PUA" techniques are what modern bullshit psychology does: taking one well-known and explored field, and simplify it with bullshit "concepts" and "theories". Flaubert's Madame Bovary explored throughly the behaviour of a delusional woman who choses to close herself inside of her imagination. Then some random "psychologist" will declare that they have found interesting patterns in the way bookworms behave. Wohoo!
The PUAs and kinos and OIs and FCs and whatever are just like that. I could call a dog a WFA (Walking Furry Animal) and say that I have theorized a new concept.
But intuition and "street smart" people have always existed. And it's not about PUAs or anything. It's just about understanding people in general. I understand that this can help people who are socially awkward, but the core problem isn't solved. It's like giving an autistic person a manual on "how to behave with people". Okay, he will be less awkward, but he'll still be an autistic man.
