I did get better, and I did get laid, but man I did a lot of stuff I regret today. Stuff ranging from extremely embarassing shit, to just plain being an inconsiderate douche bag. These days I'm in a relationship and have been for 3 years. I go out occasionally, and some times I decide to approach women just for fun. Had i realized now what I do today I would have had a lot more success and a lot less fucked up memories. My main beef with the community is that it frames the whole thing as work. 'Want to get good? WORK HARD at it!' which for me wasn't true. Want to get good? HAVE FUN with it! I wish I could have told myself this 5 years ago ( not that I would have listened to some loser with 'oneitits' back then ) Be proud, happy, confident and horny. Its all you need. Thats not to say its not a lot for many of us. For me, having spent the time I did on message boards and other dumb PUA exercises would have been better spent getting my life and career in order, realizing that hapiness is the key to getting laid and not vice versa. Today I have a good job doing what I like, a nice apartment that I own, and friends whom I help as much as I can. I'm proud of that. Consequently I would have an easier time getting laid today. What strange women think of me doesnt factor in to how I view myself any more. If some girl is in a bad mood and gives me shit I no longer jump to the conclusion that I did something wrong and its my fault. You might be proud of different things than me, or need more or less than me to be proud, but do whatever you have to do to be proud of yourself regardless of your success with women. Remember, correlation is not causation. You may think that that one thing you said or did sealed the deal for you but chances are the chick was just attracted to you and in the right mood. You may even have gotten laid IN SPITE of whatever you did. And for gods sake, keep your ego in check. If you think you have it in check, then you havent. Acknowledge that you cant, and try to recognize when its influencing you instead. The number of chicks you bang isnt a good metric for measuring your life, and getting laid is not a license to thinking your'e better than everyone who doesnt get laid as much. I was guilty of this, and A LOT of the people who posted in this thread are too. | ||

I'm sure PUA helps with getting conditions right and putting out a sexier vibe or whatever. but basically women are in the drivers seat. if she is not in the mood, doesnt matter how good your game is. she is going to tell you to go fuck yourself. If she is looking for a one night stand (ONS - using pickup lingo makes me cooler) then you just have to "not fuck up" and away you go. I think too many people are overthinking things (and sometimes profiteering off the poor guys who are crap with women) But i really like that the PUA community exists for the people with very minimal natural talent. The geeks and nerds that are awesome people, but lack confidence / knowledge. | ||

Actually got some video in field footage! Sorry, I had to open a fatty hired gun. Ran out of battery and only a short time for day game. OH WELL  Mostly just screwing around. My wings weren't too happy filming me either.... | ||

You are doing a lot of backward steping and end up in a position where you're on the girl's side, rather than facing her more frontally (even tho in the beginning SHE makes a step to face you more frontally, and then you make a step like you're making sure she can't escape or something). I would say you're not doing it deliberately, but with PUAs you never know, are you? That kind of backpeddleing looks weak imo, is there a chance you're doing it to be less threatening or something? | ||

I was looking at my footwork too. I in general chase with my body language a lot…. which is usually bad in most scenario. If she takes a step back, do not continue to take a step forward. Its best to mirror her. If she shows disinterest, mirror that disinterest even more. If she faces you more directly because she likes you, then you face her more as well. I think in the video, she took a step back and I took a step closer. Then I think I realized it and took a step back to mirror her lol. But yeah, the more direct you are facing her, the more tension it gets. So obviously during day game, you don't want to approach and then boom face her directly 6 inches from her nose. Its too intense. | ||
