However in terms making that type of career transition, it's tough. It does seem to be the case where - if you've chosen the path of porn, the odds of you making the jump over to mainstream entertainment is very very slim.
Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, Marlon Brando,... the list is long. None of them shot a hardcore pr0n movie though, afaik. Personally, I don't give a shit. Women in pr0n are (99.999% of them anyway) miserable, so good for her to leave it behind, I guess.

I wouldn't call sasha grey a mainstream actress, she was in 1-2 c/b rated movies, and an appearance on hbo's entourage is hardly "making it" not to mention her acting is absolutely horrible. That being said, it is a sad day, but better than getting fake boobs and turning 40 and still doing porn thats for sure though.
