Sure it's a credit to him for getting into those positions and keeping his advantage, but it just shows how close things are and games quickly swing massively to one players favour; and the same sort of things can be pointed out with a lot of games. I don't think i've seen enough games to comment on if i think Nerchio, Dimaga and Morrow are just inferior in playing, but isn't it irrelevant without results? If a player is fundamentally better then the volatility affects you less, but it seems to hurt IdrA's results just as much as those other 3 guys while Stephano's results look more like Korean-in-foreigner tournament winrates recently. It doesn't make sense to compare players on completely even terms? I didn't mean as an overall who-is-better thing but just as the first thing to look at. Unfortunately some of the mirrors can be a bit shit and coinflippy i guess.

But then bringing up their recent results against Korean's as the main important decision towards who's best; although i think we agree on the main things. I think there's many reasons why they are not as big of a deal as made out to be; but focusing right down on the actual gameplay in the Bomber series for example since it's the most talked about.. in the first IdrA win, one bad positioned engagement by Bomber got him caught out against banelings and the supply difference became like 70. The game lasted a lot longer anyway but it's one clear turning point. The second IdrA win Bomber built only marines and when that failed it was in IdrA's hands. And how many top Koreans did Stephano dodge to win IPL3? Nerchio, Morrow and Dimaga have no recent results to boast of. What did we argue about in the first place? x) I am actually being up late, arguing about this shit with random guys on a forum D:

That's probably just an oddity, and i wouldn't use it as justification for them being superior. But until IdrA is actually anymore consistent than any of these other guys then he's objectively not better. . So the best way to judge players is on head-to-head results or whatever ranking TLPD comes up with?? Those are probably the least reliable sources of judgement known to starcraft, exept maybe for the highest earning players ranking^^. In the TLPD foreigner, Huk is behind Moon, Naniwa is behind Bling... In head to head Nestea and Dimaga are tied. Stephano and IdrA are ahead of Nerchio and Dimaga, Sen is still impressive but is ZvT is not on the same level as the other two. Morrow is a wild card, he doesn't lose to a lot of people lately but we haven't seen him at a lan since forever.
