Sen is above those 4 though, a bit under Nestea along with IdrA. July has been crushing foreigners in NASL and got a Code S Silver. He's a top Zerg.

Not counting season 1 his record is champion, ro8, ro4, stays code s, ro16 WCs, champion, at least ro16 in Super Tourney. He is definitely zerg king. His vT is only at 58%, which is by no means a failure, but he is more known for his ZvZ and maybe ZvP. I still think he ZvT has a little ways to go compared to his other matchups. He is 69% against protoss, and 87% against zerg (absolutely amazing ZvZ record). I wouldn't call him king of zerg yet. His vT is quite average. His ZvZ is amazing, and his ZvP is really good. His teammate LosirA has had more success than NesTea versus protoss. I am still an admirer of his play, and always tune in to watch him, but he is really hyped up at the same time. He isn't hyped up in a bad way, but he still needs a few more results to be crowned a complete king, which to me means you are the best player of your race in 'all' matchups. Otherwise you are just a king of a matchup. He is the ZvZ King hands down without argument, but for vP and vT, I am not convinced yet. His vP is just about there. I do have full belief that he is capable of it, but until then, he is only ZvZ King to me. *also like to add to his vP, that he only beaten MC once 2-0 in GSL 2, and beaten SangHo (*notably for his 70% vZ). Since then, he has lost every game against MC, also without beating San or Alicia. Most of his vP wins have come from the likes of Choya (45% vZ), Hongun (55% vZ), Human (only games played as a pro are 2 losses to NesTea), Anypro (50% vZ), Inca (9% vZ). Other than that, 2-2 with squirtle (lost bo3, won a game in GSTL), 3-2 with genius (lost 1-2, won 2-0).

I don't relate though, I don't mind any match up besides ZvZ. Most Zergs haven't figured out how to make a million roaches before 10 minutes. Or alternatively, a million infestors by 20 minutes. Drone, drone, drone, mass speedling. QQ when toss attacks. On topic. Nestea is about 5x the man any other Zerg is. I don't even feel comfortable putting somebody at #2, it makes them seem to close to Nestea.

Excuses the capital LOLOLLOLOLOLOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLs, but this shit is just too funny. On topic: from my limited SC2 exposure, all the top zerg players are pretty much the same. Nobody is able to dominate, win rates are similar, and this applies to top T and P players as well. The game is still way too volatile to determine any "kings" like one could in BW. Really want to post that Bisu dressed as king picture after he beat perfectman with 2 stargirls beside him in SPL grand finals, but my TL searching skills are failing me. you do realize that his ZvT is around 60%, and his other match ups are both 80%+ right?

Relying on the early strength of speedlings for far too long. That's not to say that a good deal of experimentation isn't being done, but in general I find a lot of Zerg player's mentalities to be a bit linear and inflexible, which is contrary to the options available to them in my opinion. Nestea is certainly ahead of the pack as far as Z play goes, and his recent GSL win does a lot to dispel a lot of the notions of Zerg being underpowered. He is indeed the King.

The thing is, Nestea plays pretty standard. He doesn't cheese he doesn't make weird unit comps he just understands timings so much better than anyone else so he can defend and always have the right numbers of units and always end up way ahead in both harvester and army value.

I'm not saying standard is necessarily bad. I'd just like to see more variety or outside the box approaches. Nestea does a lot of standard play and it works. Idra plays very standard most of the time and still wins a lot despite his opponent knows he is going ling/bling muta, roach/hydra ect. It does impress me when a player's composition is known by his enemy in advance, yet he still manages to convincingly win the game. Best foreigner atm could be Nerchio. He definitely doesn't get the recognition he deserves (yet). OP should also mention Stephano, he also wins a lot lately.

But far and away, just everything Nestea does it just amazing. He's not perfect, but he's far and away captured the most out of how potentially strong zerg can be.
