Should be obvious lol. Moon - Jang Jae Ho
Great things are to come from Moon

Isn't one of Sen's alternative account names Zergking? Decision is quite easy now, he stole the name!

IdrA should get katholic and choose his second name:
Greg Jae Fields
Should be enough improvement to go through imbalance and quitting games.

I think Nestea is currently the Zerg chief, but I also noticed some questionable decisions/unit control from him tonight. It gives me a bit of hope for the future of Zerg if he can get such good results while still having lots of room to improve.

I was unsure as to who to aspire to as the zerg savior....after watching that game against SC......i have fallen deeper in love with nestea...

People are too nit-picky about zerg's unit control in my opinion. What wins games as zerg is decision making and macro.

Losira. His PvZ and mentorship under Nestea give him King status. I don't think he's had enough games and tournaments thus far to shine as he ought to, but the glimpses I've gotten in the tournaments he participates in show a level of play and aggression unparalleled in zergdom. Losira Hwaiting!

Good point. while you could save 10 lings microing hard, in that same time you could morph more lings, build an expo, start another tech, build drones etc.
While terran and protoss it's worthwile concentrating on micro more, zergs power is to overwhelm with mass.

you would have to look at it from his perspective as well... I would be sh*tting my pants in that g5 against sC T_T his few micro mistakes make up for his decision making at certain points in the game.

+ Show Spoiler +Well... just now based off the GSL win, NesTea looks so incredibly awesome it's unbelievable! I think Artosis or maybe Tasteless or both referred to him as the zerg god: Does that make him king :D

While I think the OP made good points about all of the players, the one thing I would very sternly disagree with is the fact that IdrA "gave up" against TLO at Dallas. If there was a way for him to win that game before the disconnect happens, I don't know how it would have been possible, and I actually viewed his decision to forfeit as good sportsmanship (for once). That said, he definitely did puss out against MC at Dreamhack, and as a huge IdrA fan, I was incredibly disappointed.
Still, for me it's either gotta be him or Nestea. Both are monsters when their games are right.

Tournament spoilers below + Show Spoiler +As much as I love July this thread seems pretty pointless after I watched the last two series a certain somebody played....
|
+ Show Spoiler +I think Nestea's current run through the GSL makes him the front runner for zerg king. I'm really hoping he wins the championship. That will mean two a piece for every race.
|
+ Show Spoiler + After watching the game last night Nestea is definetly the Zerg king of SC2 forget Idra even existed.

"Wild Card Bitches! Yeeeehaww" - Charlie Kelly
The quotes setting up each category were incredible! Well done, Sir!
That being said, I'd have to give my vote to Nestea, with Sen and IdrA close behind.

After last night's games I don't see how anyone can deny Nestea the title as King Zerg.

I don't see it as being picky so much as looking toward the future. Eventually, everyone's going to need superb unit control along with decision making and macro.

It's even seen in korea where coda a has many of the highest elo since they have inflated win percentages against worse opponents. I see the korean elo finally balancing out in the next year or so but unless the international one severely restricts tournaments that are used as basis it will still be highly inaccurate. definitely agree
there needs to be some sort of scaling for larger tournaments
people who have been doing well in GSTL and smaller tournaments are much higher than they should be and it should include the strength of the tournament and also the strength of their opponent when it's calculated
it's not just a international vs. korean tlpd thing, but just an overall flaw in the system itself right now

Game 5 Nestea semifinals. Nuff said.

Nestea is brilliant way ahead of competition
