NesTea was in a final game going into the finals of GSL, that single match won him over $10,000

IdrA would not have left that early at such an important time.

IdrA left one of his last GSL games in the first 5 minutes when he got bunker blocked....

Hardly a ladder game, *and* it put him in a huge hole.

NesTea gged after getting ONE bunker finished on the bottom of his ramp, game 1.

Did you miss that? IdrA had 2 on his ramp.

he had 5 drones left?

dunno, maybe he could of made a comeback? *shrug*

There is a ZERO percent chance that idra would've stayed in that game. Nestea quits when he has no money, no income, and no army and no chance. idra quits because he beats himself. He tells himself there is no chance, and leaves then. Idra thinks to himself that the opponent is playing an overpowered race. Nestea thinks of how to win. Even if they both have the same skill and decision making, Nestea will win over idra because he has the mentality of a champion.

That statement couldnt be any more precise and to the point. I hope Idra can overcome his weak state of mind at some point. He for sure can learn from Nestea, who made himself a legend with that impressive comeback!

I vote for Nerchio, at least as EU King.

He's dismantling all the online tournaments, and within, players like Strelok, Morrow, TT1, DeMusliM, Darkforce etc.

TLPD speaks for itself.

I would say the Idra would have quit in that Game 5 scenario but not because he's angry and what-not. Rather he's too rational, and the emotions only enter into the argument when he attempts to justify his actions. He would have seen that army siege up near his natural, calculated his options, and decided that his chances were close to none: then he would have explained it to himself as "this map is imba for zerg". He's lacking that primal hunger to win no matter the situation, no matter the odds. But Nestea has it and you can tell behind that composed demeanor is a man who wants it. Look at every game in this GSL that he lost to early aggression. Not once while he still had drones to mine did he ever quit, whether it was Fruitdealer's 7pool or sC's bunker rush. Can you say the same for any other Zerg?

Well the only argument against Nestea was that he hadn't done anything lately. That's changed now, so he's clearly the #1 zerg.

easy minded?

it's not just that single game, although it was the game that pushed him over the top to be clearly the best zerg in the world, but nestea has made it to the finals of the GSL yet again with great performances throughout like against anypro and sC

Why not? :D

People are unfluenced by tournaments results too much. If nestea wins, then nestea best zerg in the world, if mc wins, he is best toss in the world. Then mc looses a lot and it no longer best player in the world.

Becuase IdrA plays.

July and Losira play somewhere between 6 and 10 games PER month that fans get to actually see.

It's sort of hard to judge, and 90% of the votes are fan votes anyways.

As for why idra MAY be better arguably, has better TLPD win rates in both korea and international than july.

Losira, on the other hand, has an extremely high ZvZ and ZvP win rate while a weirdly low TvZ win rate.

Obviously the argument is "only korean wins matter"

If that is you line of thinking a thread like this isn't even fair and should be closed and remade asking "Who is the best korean zerg"

Idra is big time overrated player. Nestea and even Dimaga are easily better.

I'm not saying that IdrA is the best Zerg, but he's certainly one of the better ones. If you can't see that you are either not telling what you really think because you hate the player (not unthinkable considering his BM), or you lack braincells and understanding of the game.

Either way, you can't expect to get taken seriously saying that.

Edit: not saying that he's 100% better than NesTea or Dimaga, but he's one of the betters Zergs around

Tournaments are THE most accurate maesurement of one's play at that moment.
If someone wins a tournament, it means he played and won A TON of games vs the current best players.

This statement confuses me. Is it not tournament results that matter the most? Being good on ladder in the comfort of your own home is completely different from being good in front of a live audience on camera with tens of thousands of dollars on the line.

The Zerg King is... Nerchio

He's number 1 in SC2 ELO and he's peaking in all 3 match-ups.

How can you argue??

Have you ever heard the story, about the Zergling and the Probe? The Probe didn't make it across the creep.

Of course it is - tournaments matter the most. But I mean even single set victory and people already changed their minds about best player. I mean just look at this topic, as soon as july wins GSL match ppl start screaming july is best then he looses and losira wins, then everyone starts screaming losira is best, etc.

Korean zergs are especially hard to judge because they are playing a very small amount of games live, so a single win or loose changes ppl minds by a lot.

I don't see Nestea in top 50 even so...
or maybe you were talking about the Korean ranking?
Now it comes to if Korean ELO is superior to the international one.
