So i started to ask myself which type of holding my mouse will be better.

In clear words : Do you put your middle finger on the wheel or on the right click.
Thanks

Does anyone actually put the middle finger on the mouse wheel and ring finger on right click? Ugh that feels so weird.

funny enough if i use my left hand (i sometimes switch just out of boredom) i only use middle and index finger, and don't have a finger on my scroll wheel except when i need it. then i use either one, depending on which mouse button i need to use it with. my ring finger becomes my thumb keys finger in that case, quite funny.

Just use ur right side of ur index finger to move the mousewheel. You don't need to dedicate a finger to it. I bound 6 actions to my mouse wheel up/down/left/right and button and I would just use my index finger on it if I needed any of those actions for WoW. I was a 2100+ (2400 in 2's) Arena Hunter and Priest and I have like 50+ keybinds for hunter and 40+ for priest with shift, alt, ctrl modifiers on most of those. This might not be optimal if you play super high level FPS since you need instant L click but it works for all everything besides that.

I used a claw grip for 1.6 back when cal and cevo were around but switched to a palm grip for SC2. Like seriously, claw grip is kinda painful after a while for RTS imo.

I use the same grip. While playing FPS I keep my middle finger on the wheel because wheel up changes to my rail gun and wheel down is shotgun (Quake Live) but while playing SC2 my middle finger is on right click.
