So no, 4chan isn't responsible for this culture, this is just a direct extension of dumb shit you don't do in real life on the internet. This nothing compared what a forum (who's name escapes me right now) did to a kid who ripped off one of their members over shoes. Pizza, magazine subscriptions, military recruiters, and God knows what else. | ||

For instance, she could have learned it from her parents (which is my personal suspicion), from school, from family friends. We don't really know enough about the situation, so it's really all just speculation. | ||
