- Complex Analysis Assignment due next Wednesday (0/6 questions complete)
Fortunately, the Complex assig can be delayed hence the only things I need to do are the Electromag and the Lab Report. This blog will be my journey to try complete my work and get to playing some SCII!!

Electromag assignment question 1:
The cylinder surface shown below has a height h, a radius R and a surface charge density sigma(z) = sigma0*z. Note that the top and bottom surfaces of the cylinder are charge free.
The image is close to this, except it doesn't extend below the x-y plan and has the origin marked "a" and has "b" marked in on the axis about where the r arrow is
Find the potential at a (the point z=0 on the cylinder axis).
Progress: I'm so confused lolololol.
Guess i'll make my fixed point on the z axis then doing an integral like V(r) = 1/4*pi*epsilon0 int(sigma(z)/|r-r'|)dS' but ..
I don't like physics
