Things are looking ... bleak? With around 50 sales we are probably at 10% of what we need (because a lot of the orders are for keyboards which don't involve the teams at all).

As far as advertising that banner slot will be ours for the next couple weeks and I'll have Husky put something up soon.

I'm surprised. Susie's Oz orders was a lot more than that.

I thought CJ was one of the most popular teams here at TL

That's what I assumed as well, but it's not going so well. I'll have to do something about it though.

This is a small thread and whatnot... I really hope StarcraftMecca finds a way to get some visibility.

Something that restricts a lot of people has to be the shipping fee too. There's got to be a way to get flat rate shipping for international.

Honestly I really want to buy something but I just can't afford it. Little Suzie's threads probably got more response to the jackets because they were way cheaper. I know you don't have much choice on the prices, but really I think price is the main reason, not lack of interest.

My primary concern is price as well. I understand there's not much you can do... but I just can't afford like $250 for a jacket.

I'll check again with just regular post but do you really trust something like that to get your $250 dollar jacket? Reason I'm using UPS is because they are reliable.

I still intend on ordering a jacket myself, especially now that it's down to $250, but I just don't have the money at the moment and it will probably be a few months before I can. With that said, I trust the USPS a whole hell of a lot more than I trust UPS, and it wouldn't be an issue whatsoever if insurance was added to the package.

Maybe not a jacket, but EMS or even regular SAL should be more than enough for any other item.

Valid concern, I'm perfectly fine paying premium for big orders but if I'm only going to buy 1 or 2 shirts, cheaper shipping might just cut it.

Shipping to Sweden for one seems to be pretty hard to afford. There are risks involved in both cases for sure. UPS once delivered a box to me and all of its corners were pushed in, and its something had literally impaled the box... Luckily the product was still fine, foam is magical unicorn grease or something. Of course these things happen with all forms of shipping but yeah =P.

On the other hand, Lilsusie had a few cases of lost packages with flat rate... And now there are packages that take 2 months to get to destination and the longer your box is in the system the higher are the odds that it'll get lost...

A choice would be nice for sure =P... If StarcraftMecca gets a deal with say STX, I may buy a shirt and opt to pay for $10 shipping instead of $25, it has its risks but it would feel like the gamble would be heavily in my favor.

PS: I would suggest that if you get the banner, make sure you make the most of it. This thread's title is "StarcraftMecca Thread" or something like that - some people probably shrug it off because they don't know what it's all about. The banner should make it clear that StarcraftMecca sells rare merchandise from SC teams such as CJ.

Yeah the price on these seems a little steep. I'm used to paying a ton for clothes, but the primary audience seems to be college students (who obviously can't afford these kinds of things unfortunately)

if you were selling more of the black t-shirt, i'm sure that you would have a shitton of sales. it's a shame that there aren't more available.

I would recommend offering a lower cost shipping for people who are just buying shirts and keyboards, while people buying more valuable items can opt for insurance and quicker/more reliable shipping.

I agree with the above. I think having two shipping options, one being regular post, and one being UPS, is a good choice. That way I can purchase a t-shirt without having to pay high shipping. If they lose it, it's my fault.

If you kept up with all the progamer merchandise threads, you'll see it became harder and harder to sell these items. At the start, the few CJ shirts generated a lot of interest, but it's because it's the first time that these items were being sold in the foreign community and there was limited numbers of it being on sale. Wemade shirts sold really well because most people didn't have a chance to buy progaming merchandise yet. Plus it was cheap, 15 or 25 for a shirt and ~1 dollar shipping. As time went by, the price of these items just got higher and higher to the point where it's not worth it to many potential buyers. Even lilsusie had problems selling progamer shirts on many occasions.

I was keen on getting on of the keyboards. It was $25 for the keyboard - great.

Unfortunately, it cost $80 for shipping.

There's no way I'm paying that much for shipping. Ever.

Drop the shipping (somehow) and your sales should increase a lot.
