I have the opposite opinion. Jaedong is guided by games of all his predecessors. Boxer wasn't. He achieved this only by himself, nobody guided him. The thing is, back then there was no competition whatsoever in comparsion. I can't agrree. What do you mean by 'there was no competition in comparison'? Do you mean that Boxer was so powerful that nobody could compete him? If so, this only proofs his dominance over other players. Hence, I would restate your phrase as 'Back then there was no player who could compete Boxer'. Everyone was bad back then, Boxer was less bad Everybody is really good right now, Jaedong is better Anyway, I, like a lot of others, am glad I didn't stay up to watch this. Still, good shit JD ![]() The way I see it, before we had boxer at (arbitrary measure of skill) 100 and everyone else at 50. Now we have Jaedong at 250 and everyone else at 200. So maybe Jaedong is still as far ahead of everyone else as boxer was, but because the baseline is higher he's only 25% better whereas boxer was 100% better. 250 is 20% more than 200. | ||
