I wasn't awake for the finals, but from the description in the op it sounds like this may have been the worst finals in osl history. Incidentally jaedong surpassed savior as third most accomplished player of all time, after nada and oov.

jesus Jaedong played good

YellOw played unusually bad though

his micro was off and he seemed sloppy

the occasion must have gotten the better of him

congrats to JD though. amazing play~

just finished watching the vods. every single game was so one sided. JvZ is really something.

While of course its still impressive, i think doing it in this current generation is much more impressive because the overall skill level is so much higher.

I have the opposite opinion. Jaedong is guided by games of all his predecessors. Boxer wasn't. He achieved this only by himself, nobody guided him.

And it's going to be the worst MSL finals in history as well. ZvZ never was finals-excitement material.

Worst finals in OSL history, you say? I thought it was pretty good. Then again, I'm one of those freaks who actually "likes" ZvZ.

It wasnt that it was ZvZ its because the games were really onesided and unepic

I see it... Flash winning the next OSL and Bisu the next MSL ~ you heard it here first.

And yeah, Yarnc played pretty sloppy... JD completely outclassed him.

The thing is, back then there was no competition whatsoever in comparsion.

jaedong is maybe the only progamer of this last years to have learnt his SC all by himself . he is the player with most personnality . he is the only who can be compare to boxer , nada , reach or nal_ra in terms of creativity and personnality . he is just jaedong .

bisu is nal_ra/daezang baby , flash is a programmed robot by kespa helped by oov and nada .

if we have to choose one progamer who play all by himself without lead his gameplay on his predecessors games , i think we can choose jaedong . savior and stork maybe too , but still , its jaedong the best .

jaedong has the hardest playstyle , the most deserving one . i think he can be considered now as great as boxer or nada was .

boxer my god really deserved the wins more than all others . jaedong is like him for me on this point .

maybe you dont like zvz , but jaedong wont play only for your plaisure and make big games only for spectacle . he played for the win , he dont play for spectacle . his strat in the first game was ENORMOUS in my opinion , the two next games were classic indeed , but was really good too . jaedong pushed his agressiveness at his paroxysm . its was beautiful .

i agree zvz can be boring sometimes , like tvt and pvp , but a zvz in a very important match like PL playoffs or OSL is really beautiful . yellow arnc vs effort@heartbreak PL playoffs was one of the best SC moments i ever lived . i hate effort , i amlost cried when he won , but it was really a great game , effort played really well , didnt felt under pressure like yarnc , it was a great moment of sport .

yellow arnc is getting bigger and bigger in my heart . he is really vulnerable under pressure , i love that .

if the next leagues are boxer vs yellow arnc for OSL and jaedong vs bisu for MSL , i think i can just kill myself after the finals done .

boxer and jaedong fighting !!!
jaedong > flash in OSLs ; jaedong > flash in MSLs ; jaedong > flash in WCGs ; jaedong > flash in proleagues . what else ? NESPRESSO ( old quote =( )

Oh what, called it (for once) ^ ^.

JD's record vs Hite players is pretty funny tbh

Looked it up and Jaedong has a stupid 24-6 record against them. Hmm...I doubt it would be smart if he went to Hite.

Pretty good OSL for me ^_^, it's not always about the gameplay ofc.

Jaedong has a sort of unique playstyle of aggression, but yet he is good at everything else, but he did get his inspiration from somewhere:

▶Jaedong(Lecaf)= Savior, who I admire, won today. I learned a lot just by watching from the audience. Right now, I have so much to learn, but I will work hard so I can be on that stage some day. Watch me as I go.
- from http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=44742

and in this FPVOD we see at the end, jaedong immediatly gets up to bow to savior.

Maybe, but I think calm and kwanro can put together as good a zvz series as can be. I'd be surprised if it doesn't turn out to be much better than this.
