You said you were implying something in your original post. Were you not implying that people thought this was the worst OSL in recent history, due to either being SKT1 fans, or Protoss fans (both of which more or less mean they think it was a bad OSL due to bias, rather than it really being a bad OSL)?

The games weren't that exciting because Jaedong stomped Yarnc in a vicious fashion.

I thought the Club Day MSL was the worst finals ever because it was PvP and my user icon is zerg and my team icon is Oz and there was an SKT player in the finals.

A ZvZ is like sex with a premature ejaculation. It's great while it lasts but it's over way too quickly and you're left with an empty feeling of disappointment.

beating Grrr or skelton back in 1999 with random A- iccup , yes for sure .
but boxer was a complete different level . when he showed up on the scene , it as the biggest step made in the history . random A- would not beat boxer 2000 just because boxer would play so smart that the A- will understand nothing .

boxer2000 almost know starcraft better than some A- in the present .

in football , if pelée of the past plays in the present , what would it be ? just pathetic ..

but can you think beat the pelée of the past ?

Being able to know a game so well in your own generation that you can truly dominate the scene. Comparing two different generations is like comparing two different games - it makes you look like an idiot. Anyone with half a brain can watch Boxer play GARIMTO or Yellow way back in the day and see that it is basically a completely different game compared to now.

This entire argument is pointless, but the average iCCup player of today has better micro, better understanding of builds, and just better understanding of the game in its entirety than Boxer ever did in the early days of SC:BW, even if he was one of the greatest innovators of the game. There's just absolutely no question that a mid-level casual player on iCCup is better than the top players of 2001 in basically every area of the game. We could seriously just play the 1hatch/2hatch lair builds like the old Zergs and win without much problem.

How is it pointless? I'm just making the point that it's pointless to compare players right now and the players from the old times. Obviously the concepts of macro and micro have evolved so why is he saying a C- zerg can beat boxer from 2001 using modern strategies that are superior?

extractor trick
10 hatch
9pool
drone
gas
drone
ol
3lings
pull drones off gas once you have enough gas for ling speed
mass ling

I wonder how specific to Holy World it is...

day9 recognized the build almost immediately as we he casting it @ blizzcon OSL party. So I'm pretty sure it's just a pretty old weird ZvZ BO that has been forgotten by time until now.
