Props to Iris for keeping his cool and trudging on. That was possibly the best game of 2009. Can't say for certain, but so far, to me, it has been. | ||

Sure it helped his push a ton, but if Bisu had just sat back and defended for 2-3 minutes instead of attacking, and used those templar to storm the living hell out of everything - either at Iris's min-lines or if Iris attacked - his lead would have been game-breaking. Even if he had called it quits after the first attack (which was basically a base-trade + extra damage) he'd have been good, but no he had to try again (with no real army) instead of defending (did I mention this yet?). For the most part Bisu's play was good, but his decision-making at the end of game five had me looking for a wall to bang my head against. | ||

Iris simply outplayed him when it came down to it. It was an absolutely brilliant proxy-robo goon shuttle by Bisu, something to make even Kang Min proud. But Iris held off again and again, and somehow pulled it off in the end. Iris' dropships and army splitting late game (with JUST enough to hold off Bisu's attacks left at home, reminiscent of Jaedong's defense vs Movie not long ago) won him the game. I mean, even 3/4 of the way through the game it still seemed like Bisu was making brilliant plays, with the hallucinations and storms. This is simply what an amazing game on both sides looks like. Let's enjoy it for what it was - one of the best games ever. | ||

IRIS TO WIN THIS MSL AND GOM!!!! I support Iris 100% this man deserves a title soooooo much after being beaten by Savior and GGplay when they were playing like monsters.
