I thought Zero had a very good chance of winning this OSL if he could just dodge Jaedong...

A ZerO upset is possible, and I like both players so it's all good. I wish both of them could move on, but oh well :S Zero is still alive in MSL, you can't say for sure that he can devote all his energy into ZvZ. And as others have said, it's Jaedong, I'm not sure that matters.

You also mentioned that Return of the King was Protoss favored during the Batoo OSL when I mentioned that the map was advantageous for Zerg. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=89835¤tpage=52#1040 My post mentioned the following: To which you replied: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=89835¤tpage=53 http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/maps/184_Return_of_the_King/games/ZvP Current stats now. Still wanna tell me RoTK is Protoss favored now? "During the ClubDay MSL you were complaining very chronically that all the maps were Protoss favored, which you said was the only reason why so many Protoss players were winning. " No I said it was a reason why they were winning so much at the same time in addition to their skill. Don't put me down to absolutes. "Still wanna tell me RoTK is Protoss favored now?" Obviously not, the change in strategies can rapidly change the balance of a map. Like Destination, once the 4 gate 2 archon build had been figured out by using a sim city, it changed to favor zergs. Maybe we are seeing something similar here. Note that I said that last season before the strategy change, when it was favored for Protoss. I still wonder why the zergs do not flank the natural in the games we have seen as you say it is so easy to win by doing so. Oh crap, for the OSL JD is facing a zerg, for the GSL JD is facing a zerg, for PL JD is facing a zerg, however will he get the time to prepare?

No protoss make it out of the Ro16 T-T We have to endure go.go and Canata instead of the much more interesting Bisu, Hwasin, or hero T-T Jaedong is going to get his golden mouse and it won't even be this 'wow' moment because the entire tournament leading up to it will be boring as hell.

This OSL is looking to be a bummer. I imagine Jaedong vs Fantasy will be similar to Savior vs Iris -- the real finals, since Leta vs Jaedong doesn't look like it'll be too close, similar to nada vs savior. But hey, Jaedong with a golden mouse sounds pretty cool. He did have to beat Flash and Effort to get here so it's not like he has the easiest run. It's just sad that he isn't going to get a chance to dispell his weak vs Protoss myth. Time to go watch the MSL and hope for Flash/Jaedong vs Bisu.

1) Plays straight up, wins. Fans will criticize him for wasting practice time on this the next time he loses a meaningful game. 2) Plays straight up, loses. People will say he sucks, as well as complaining about his wasted practice. 3) Cheeses, wins. See thread for resultant complaints. 4) Cheeses, loses. People will complain about his nonstandard play, and also say he threw the game to avenge himself against Jaedong. So really, just lay off.

That's exactly what I was thinking reading some of the complaints on FlaSh's play.

To me this tournament is 10x less compelling without EffOrt, Bisu, Stork, Hwasin, and hero, all of whom were eliminated yesterday. I'll just go to rooting for type-b now I guess. Wasn't referring to you; earlier comments by others were far more disparaging to Flash ;p Trust me I understand the sentiment when your favorite player gets eliminated. Re: OSL entertainment, agreed. Lack of Protoss sucks. This is why Protosses need a HERO. This wimpy Revolutionist who rigs groups his way and then gets humiliated is a far cry from the great man who sacrificed easy brackets to help younger players (e.g. picking Shark, a zerg, so that MBC players wouldn't all be in the same group). EffOrt is more interesting than type-b and Yarnc. Hwasin moreso than go.go. But I feel like I can embrace the Canata storyline. Guy struggles with mediocrity for five long years and finally achieves some success - in both leagues nonetheless. Jaedong going for the Mouse is also pretty okay. As is his total rejection of the OSL curse.

Oh, and Bisu... let's make sure we focus on MSL hardcore now hmm? First to 4 wins in either league would be a neat achievement.
