FantaSy is also extremly good dealing with reaver harass. Last OSL he said in a interview that he practiced alot with IntoTheRainbow for the finals against Stork. And Stork lost the game where he went reaver.

Maybe we would see different outcome if Bisu went for more passive macro game.

In the mini interview they showed at the end, fantasy basically said that osl final stage to him at first was so surreal and he was just happy to be there... but now he has a great urge to win - and he will work very hard to do so. to him the memory of walking down to the osl final is one of his best memories because it was surreal walking down with the petals falling down from the ceiling.. he also felt like if he doesn't win this time he might not get the chance again for a while so he will work very hard to win. fantasy also thanked oov for his coaching that enabled him to get as far as he did.

This LR was tame in bisu fanboism, I don't know why people are getting riled.

Bisu played the matchup wrongly. PVT =/= PVZ, harrass play don't work on terran as effectively. Most of this matchup is macro and defence from probe harrass. Terran knows protoss will roll over them naturally with full economy, so Terran's harrass is much more effective. Bisu going for full harrass must end the game, if not he cannot catch up.

How does harass play not work in PvT? Please explain lol.

DT, Reaver, HT harass, elevator, zeal-bomb... Are you for real?

It dont work like PvZ, even Terran loses lots of SCV they can still win if the push is not broken not to mention it can be easily defended. Bisu is left with zealot bomb/mine drag but he don't possess the best of these, so he is pressured to harrass much. Fantasy hold on and its the end.

So What?

It mainly because fantasy has upped his game. Said that to me when Fantasy beaten everyone else. F**kFace.

LOL, power rank is nothing compared to KESPA rating and ELO pts
Power rank is sh*t....

People here are putting effort and time into analyzing the progamers' monthly performance and you come and call that shit. You've found a great way to support the community, thank you so so much for your insight!

As for Fantasy, he is really unpredictable. He can lose a game and come back and win the next one in such a way that you think his opponent must be handicapped. Today he displayed some very nice game.

Bisu... Well, he just sucked today. Maybe next OSL if he doesn't slump big time again.

Now I hope Fantasy wins the whole thing, that would be great!

Fuckin' Fantasy... so awesome.

Lol it's like all the mini-trolls come out of the darkness to milk on big troll's teet.

Mini troll? I honestly couldn't tell you what a troll is, but I just have a massive dislike for Bisu after Group F, being knocked out utterly in both SLs, then getting back in to just lose so harshly. If he won, I'd be supporting him and his "destined" OSL.

So you dislike Bisu because he lost? Can there be any more of a bandwagon aspect to your fickle opinion?

I suppose not, but why so condescending (no meme or whatever intended)?

Well... that and he royally fucked FBH (who I like) so it's like... if you're in it, you might as well make up for taking him out.

Lots of little things yes. But its not like his fundamental understanding of PvT is flawed. Although I strongly question the decesion to open 2 base carriers...

Overall Fantasy played out of this world and Bisu just didn't bring his A-Game.As a SKT1 fan i hope he wins the OSL and hopefully against by.hero would be nice.

And Bisu please don't go into a slump that'd break my heart </3

This thread is the reason why despite the fact that I like Bisu and his play, it's hard to root for him because his fans are so annoying.

Bisu did not play badly, outside of his non-scouting of Fantasy's ninja expansion. These are terran favored maps. Macro, standard play results in toss getting pwned. He did what all good tosses do in these situations, relying on harass and early game aggression to even the odds. The fact that he could not do so is due to Fantasy's great game sense(perhaps due to being teammates) and micro.

Basically, Bisu played like Bisu. Fantasy stepped up his game. And the map pool is crap for protoss. Hence why no protoss left.

this

actually bisu picked the wrong battles, it seemed in game 2 and 3 that he has the edge but in both lost units carelessly. Those things happen. I can feel the combine force of the bisu haters and JD fans, but I still remember the "OMG thats not fair, JD had to play forGG on a fucking imbalanced map like Tiamath". In-team matches are always so hard to predict. Fantasy played way better today and deserved the win.

I really cant understand the anti-fanboysh rage

I personally get annoyed because it takes away the spotlight on the opposing player. Fantasy played some impressive TvP. Yet 1/2 the posts are "OMG why is Bisu playing so badly!".

Oh, and I have to admit that another part of the reason why I can't like Bisu is because he raped my boy Jangbi in two finals.

Bisu's builds were all old school very aggressive antimacro builds.

Fantasy played very standard and fended off the aggressiveness fine, so in the end he had an economical advantage. Bisu would have just been better off going 1 gate goon nexus and double expanding after he saw teh terran do the same thing... all three games.

well you started the hole thing man, apparently most of the bisu fans saw the fact that fantasy played better and fully deserved the win, but you brought out the "omfg bisu gtfo, you are not bonjwa etc etc" stuff. Trust me, I'm one of the most diehard bisu fans around, but I dont feel bad about that one at all.

This thread is relatively tame only because a T1 player took Bisu out.

edit: also because Fantasy has no fanbase.
That's not awful writing, DAMMIT. It's perfectly sensical english construction.

Completely agree. After the ro8 and seeing the predictions I found myself almost hoping for Fantasy to win, despite being a fan of bisu. It's like people have completely forgotten, irrespective of constant reminders, that anything can happen in a series between 2 good gamers. Fantasy looked very sharp today, and, by doing so, made bisu look somewhat dull. Bisu's play wasn't bad, save for game 3, which was sloptacular after the opening, but fantasy managed to continually put him in positions he didn't want to be in.

I'm sad there won't be a PvZ final, and that Bisu's out, but I'm very happy for fantasy.

I think its because of the maps. Theres a lot of weaknesses that you can exploit with 2 fact builds. Like on chup you can sneak to the back ridge there and block the gap with an ebay. And theres the high ground near the expo on the second map. And the 3rd map also has a ridge near the expo thats completely exploitable as well.
