PLZ JD beat hero and then beat fantasy to restore harmony to the world!
I must return to the time when I played with my own style, and when I determined the victory through strategies. And the strategies are a product of practicing more than anyone else. The key to success is to persevere through practice. Lim Yo-hwan

Bisu played the matchup wrongly. PVT =/= PVZ, harrass play don't work on terran as effectively. Most of this matchup is macro and defence from probe harrass. Terran knows protoss will roll over them naturally with full economy, so Terran's harrass is much more effective. Bisu going for full harrass must end the game, if not he cannot catch up.

How does harass play not work in PvT? Please explain lol.

DT, Reaver, HT harass, elevator, zeal-bomb... Are you for real?

It dont work like PvZ, even Terran loses lots of SCV they can still win if the push is not broken not to mention it can be easily defended. Bisu is left with zealot bomb/mine drag but he don't possess the best of these, so he is pressured to harrass much. Fantasy hold on and its the end.

Stork and Jangbi both played ridiculously aggressive in their MSL matches. Tons of reaver usage. It's pretty standard in PvT when you need to get an early game edge. Fantasy's anti-reaver was just awesome today, though.

Oh my God..............................................................
Fantasy, you better have a good reason for doing this..

Oh well, ForGG beat Flash, denying us our Flash-Jaedong finals last last MSL, I hope Fantasy does something better than to grab another silver medal.

Trying to win thousands of dollars seems to be a good reason to me

It's all of the great plan of making Hero become a royal roader. The stage is set, now all he has to do is to get past Jaedong in a ZvZ Bo5... right.

Perfect play by fantasy. Great series play and nice preparation, once again he upsetted his way to the finals, reminds of Forgg's run. As a Jaedong/Hero fan Im worried for them vs fantasy rather than bisu which they are clearly favorites against unlike fantasy who brings really strong builds to series. Game 2 was pretty good, game 3 started out pretty good then went down the drain, game 1 was pretty ugh. Hoping for a good finals now .

Editerfect play other than that wraith.

I'm calm. Apparently the others aren't.

well you started the hole thing man, apparently most of the bisu fans saw the fact that fantasy played better and fully deserved the win, but you brought out the "omfg bisu gtfo, you are not bonjwa etc etc" stuff. Trust me, I'm one of the most diehard bisu fans around, but I dont feel bad about that one at all.

Hey, don't take it the wrong way. I personally don't think Bisu played bad, too many things just went wrong for him and it looked like he played bad. The risky strat in game didn't pay off. In game 2 he either got unlucky with scouting, or did not think of a possibility of a hidden base from a Terran. His reaver on the nat was magnificent. Game three Fantasy showed great reaver harass defense and with a late nat and 2 base arbiter, Bisu just didn't have teh army to stay in the game. Fantasy just played perfectly.
About him being a bonjwa and not belonging in the OSL. Bonjwa means "undisputed best". Noone disputed the bonjwa status of the first four. Since there is a big dispute over Bisu's bonjwa status, that by definition rules him out. Also no player has been as close in skill to the first four as Flash and JD are to Bisu now.
About him not belonging. Well, he did get eliminated in the ro32. It's only fair that he is knocked out now. Personally I think Firefist should have taken the spot as he was the one facing Backho and all the other players not eliminated by the person with an injury shouldn't get a second chance. Look man, protoss won three starleagues last season. The swarm really needs to deliver this season and I'm cheering for whoever will be the easiest opponent for JD/hero, which is Fantasy.

Game 1 Bisu failed with his BO, but credit goes to Fantasy for scanning it. Game 2 Bisu failed at scouting, but credit goes to Fantasy for having the game sense to push Bisu into defensive mode with his vulture harrass, and get Bisu off his normal scouting mindset.

Game 3 Bisu's harrass was excellent. He wreaked havoc in Fantasy's base and absolute chaos ensued. But his decision to go for risky 2 base arbiter tech was ridiculous. For one thing he wasn't *that* far ahead that he could recover from such an all-inish tactic. And second there was no reason for him to believe that he couldn't play standard against Fantasy. Had he taken his 2nd expo and macroed up, I don't see a way Fantasy could have stopped him. It's not like his mechanics were off. He fended off Fantasy's initial push almost perfectly. I just don't know what he was thinking.

Hmm yeah, that wouldn't be a bad reason. But yeah, these upsets often produce the best finals....or the next big players.

and yeah, any recommended games?

Basically Fantasy outplayed Bisu, who didn't play at his best imo while Fantasy played great. But other than that, I also think Fantasy's play is a nice counter to Bisu's aggressive harrass. Flash himself said he admired Fantasy's ability to create chaos (as seen in first match) thus handling very well people who try to create it as well.
I think Bisu would've had a better chance aiming for a more standard macro-oriented game.
