Is it me, or do the four kings (and by that I mean Jd/Bisu) seem less reliable than they did just a month ago? Only Flash seems unshakeable and Stork, well, he's far too gone.

Every player has their good times and bad times. Savior had them even during his "bonjwa" streak. Flash will have them again too. Don't count out Stork to come right back either this season.

Hell, it's not like this is a "bad time" really for Bisu. He still won two games before losing to Guemchi.

give Bisu a break, only if his all his teammates could beat more than one dude -_-

I think 4 players each side seem a bit too small and doesn't represent the overall team well =(

Flash does it!

Routinely even, and then goes on to play 45 minute TvT's and come back from the brink.

Besides that though, 4 players is plenty really because we're already seeing who carries their team. Khan is being carried by Jangbi, there is KTFlash, OZ relies really heavily on Jaedong as evidenced by his brutal sniping. The one team that really doesn't have one person carrying them is CJ Entus and look at their record, there is a correlation.

GeumChi always comes out and surprises me. What a nice game. He'll probably go back to sucking immediately after his night of highlight.

Seriously does anyone else see a pattern between SKT and KHAN ?

Overall: Both teams are failing at proleague atm compared to what they could achieve
Jangbi/Bisu: The solid protoss taking it home (well not exactly today for Bisu but he still won 2)
Stork/Best: The protoss who was fucking sick not so long ago but is now in a slump
FBH/Fantasy: The terran who should be good but somehow sucks
+ "some zergs"

I'm still not seeing what is such a big issue for Bisu here - he won two games, lost one. Players drop games, and he did fairly well getting it to the final game for SKT anyway. He's never really been an unstoppable proleague beast, but at least in this WL he's proving to win many more games than he loses.

And that is why Bisu isn't bonjwa.

Since when does one random proleague game have any say in a bonjwa argument?

Even still, just for reference:
Savior in Proleague during his Bonjwa period - a flat 80% (8-2) win rate in both round one and round two.

Bisu in last round of Proleague - 83.33% (with a more impressive 15-3) in round one and currently a still strong 60% (6-4) in winners league. Given his current form I personally can only predict that number to go up.

I'm not saying Bisu is bonjwa nor am I excusing his loss to Guemchi, but I really just want to stress to everybody - stop making a big deal over every loss.

The best of the best have winning percentages in the low-mid 60s. And that's a select few. No one wins every game, and no one loses only to other top tier players. Until recently Savior himself had an all time career winning streak of 7 - meaning he lost at least one game out of every 8 games he played, no matter what the height of his dominance.

Bisu is still the best Protoss in the world right now.
Bisu is still top three best players overall.
While he may not go on a 10 win Proleague streak like Flash, he is still a strong contender (and IMO, the player to beat) in any BoX vs. anyone in the world. And in the end, that's what matters. Anyone can lose a Bo1 vs anyone. Winning a series is what counts.

I may have over-argued my point, but I get tired of seeing people go off on players for every loss they get. And not just Bisu, but anyone. Jaedong still loses ZvZs and Flash still loses TvTs, its a fact of Starcraft.

(Note: I know you (Kizzbg) weren't directly attacking Bisu or claiming he's slumping ect, I just used your post as a starting point for my "every body loses sometime!" rant )

But Flash and Jaedong aren't considered bonjwas by anybody, so it's moot to compare Bisu to them. Your comparison to savior is well-founded though.

who even cares about bonjaw or elo's or any of that dumb meanigless crap. Guemchi's play was hilarious though, you could imagine Bisu laughing in his head then..suddenly realizing "hmm why is my money so low...wait..shit.." Or in guemchis head "Gotcha bitch". Funny game, still not as redic as a guardian/ultra build.

Once, again, the point is not on "bonjwa". It's on the slumping/sucking-just-because-they-lost-one-game rant that pops out all the time for top players like FlaSh, Jaedong, and Bisu.

My brain certainly jumps around a lot, though I stated him my post that I was not making an argument for Bisu being Bonjwa (though what I said certainly could be seen as such an argument) I was merely stating that a random loss in Proleauge, especially given said players overall performance of late, should never be the basis of a claim to that players skill.

I also mentioned that the post I quoted was used simply as a jump off point for my lay-off-the-kings rant, and that my post wasn't targeted at that particular poster or Bisu being Bonjwa.

But yes, I can be quite confusing!

This is a pretty fair comparison, aside from the fact that Fantasy was playing pretty well in WL until this past week...he scored 2 kills against both KTF (beating Flash !!) and eSTRO.
