Upmagic still has a chance to become better looking .
SOOO glad that there wasn't any mech though, but then again, looking at these maps, they all kinda suck for mech. Especially with Chupung-Ryeong and Harmony, you can't push out and get a 3rd base very easily, while the zerg can easily take the entire map while you watch. Even destination is tough for mech cuz the map is soo damn huge. Now that zergs are growing some brains and are PUTTING SUNKENS AT EXPOS TO DEFEND AGAINST VULTURES, the mech build is really showing its flaws, which is AWESOME. Nothing against Upmagic though .
I do wanna try that hatch in the opponents mineral only into 5 hatch in the opponents natural build though . That was pure pwnage.

Spectators might not understand, but hwasin risked everything and went for the command. People thought we were mirrored, but I was 2fac speed, while hwasin hyung was 3fac speed. From the start, the game was a 40% for me and 60% for Hwasin hyung.
Can someone explain this more? I don't know why going for the command center for Hwasin would "risk everything". What does 3fac speed mean? 3 factories before speed for vultures?

chupung ryeong is a decent map for mech, the midgame gol tank timing push is so fucking strong cuz its hard to counter and the rush distance is tiny buuut chupung isnt a msl map.

+ bio tvz is a strategy that can [basically] be used on any map, and will be the dominant strategy in tvz for the rest of starcraft. Mech is so map based, that if you focus on your mech too much, your bio becomes worse, the maps switch, and your at a disadvantage. Hwasin is a top player, making this entire stylistic change, totally different flow and timings...it would put him off immeasurably for short term gains.
mech wont be around [at least to this degree] in 6+ months IMO.

blargh disappointing games

why were like 40 pages out of all these pages just dedicated to obsolete chinese hate. i thought esp since america is in such a pinch at the moment, that there would be a lot more respect to the chinese in general, but obviously this is not so. the chinese guy provided great advice, according to the people listening in, and i see no reason that you had to be so obnoxious about it...
i also dont understand why hwasin lacks so much support compared to players such as savior, flash, and jaedong.
hwasin has NEVER done something "BAD" and could be considered one of the very best players for a very long time... he has been around much longer than jaedong and flash, and is close friends with the Maestro. i really dont see why you guys just throw hate at him... he practices so hard for his games...he puts so much dedication into his game...
just stop hating him.

Holy shit Jaedong and firebathero are out.
Fuck Bisu

Hoho, you need to learn how politics work then. =) You are talking about the same country who owes China a /ridiculous/ monetary debt and blames China for "lending the US so much money".
That aside, the guy was pretty damn loud and also I don't think Cantonese is too attractive to a lot of people (I can't stand it, I speak strictly Mandarin). Even if the guy did provide good advice, if no one can understand it, it doesn't do much good. We're used to hearing Korean and English commentary so it catches us off guard. The comments look pretty in jest from what I can see. =)
AND WOOT FOR HWASIN!!! I've been rooting for that bastard since he first began his Savior rivalry and he /finally/ pulls through again after his slump. (Or at least what I saw as his slump) Edit PS: Sucks that JD is out but I'm fucking glad that FBH got /stomped/

So 4/4 for me in LB
A bit sad that Jaedong lost but I somehow had a feeling Hwasin and Flash will go through and I am really happy that they did.

I thought that at first... but then I actually watched it, and well, I was keeping it on silent for the rest of the game. To me at least, it's not really him speaking Chinese or w/e; just that it was too loud and voice was grating
And a Chinese individual/ China the Country are two diffrent things. I have nothing against Chinese people or Chinese the language (I am Chinese) but this guy in particular, yea.

Queens ensnaring marines, Scourge chasing BCs with parasites, Yamato on Ultralisks, offensive Hatcheries... yeah, I'd say these were good games.
And people were hating Bisu for "fucking up the MSL"...
I'm also a bit surprised that not many people saw it coming that Hwasin would qualify. You only need to take a look at his OSL qualification, where he 2-0'ed a Mind who was definitely not slumping. Bisu was talking shit at the OSL saying "I wanted to choose someone I often win against, but Hwasin has been chosen already", but it's obvious that it wouldn't be so one-sided if the two were to meet now.
