Mvp/skyhigh can go either way, effort is a little overhyped that one is also a tossup, free will win his game, savior should win his game but its zvz and zero is hot lately while savior has been absent from the lineup. This series can go either way easily imo but im leaning towards Woongjin.
guemchi put up a VERY good fight against flash. he also has zero and ggplay as practice partners, so i'm going to say it right now: guemchi will win over effort.
The sunken is the manliest static defense. It literally stabs it's enemies to death with it's giant subterranean penis. Pathetic energy blasts can't even compare to that.

yeah, and what do you know?
Movie got extremely lucky. Free is preparing for the leagues, unlike Movie.
free has terrible pvp in general
So? He has way above average PvZ and his PvT is pretty good. He's like third for best Protoss' after Bisu and Stork. Even the best players have troubles with mirrors.

man you could write fucking articles about that pvp build
from start to finish it was just very very beautiful
faking quick nexus, mining the temple to prevent pylon hopping, taking his highground expo with dt harassment, sacrificing his first dt so that free would move the obs to the battle....

Jangbi and Kal are better than Free IMO.
Jangbi has pretty much the same PvP and only a little bit better of stats. Free pretty much carried Hanbit Stars for like... what... 3 seasons now? Jangbi nor Kal can be attributed to something like that. Free deserves his title.

Because ZerO is slumping hard after they overplayed him massively. They need to use him to try to snipe their opponent's Terran and that's it, because he's proven his other matchups are not up to being used like he is an ace. That and they have no good Terrans.
Aside from that free is still playing well, and GGPlay will always be good for winning half of his games, just as a role player. They just need to stop misusing ZerO and find a Terran that can win at least 2/5's of his games.

Only. Kal and Jangbi had really bad pvp in the early part of their career, and began to reform it. Their pvp is now quite strong. Jangbi in particular. Free has always been mediocre in pvp, even more so as of late. Doesn't matter what Free does in PL, he still lacks a certain quality that defines a truly monstrous and feared opponent, like the other dragons. Free's had a good season, he'll be back to being a pl player soon enough.

The only reason I can think of that Jangbi and Kal have better records is because they have played substantially less games. Not to mention, they only really have a better PvT record than him, their PvP's are the same and so is the PvZ.

his opponent scouting 2nd pylon proxy and going 2 gate before robo

Sorry, gotta know when a pylon is missing to be considered top 3 of any race.
But Kal is considered a dragon yet he has below 50% in PvP.

No. I don't think so. Not like Jangi or Kal has done much recently. Jangbi got to the finals but he lost to Bisu 3-1, same as Free, only Free was unlucky to meet Bisu earlier.

He was ahead before sKyHigh got speed, but for some reason he kept running every time he was harassed, losing a vult each time (2-3 times). Once sKyHigh was ahead he attacked, and in same unit wars any lead is multiplied with each wave.
He also built his CC in his main, so he was a bit slower on the expo.
I love skyhigh's vulture use. Ever since his game against Pusan I have been amazed by his use of that unit. It's true that he lost that game, but Pusan is awesome. However, it was much more successful against Kal. Back onto this game, his excellent targetting and positioning, as well as the surprise factor (who the hell does a pure vulture rush?) won it for him. Also MVP's decision-making was lousy. In the end, he should have kept the contain and waited for tanks instead of trying to break out with no chance of success and just watch his vultures glitch.
free scouted no second pylon, but still went 2nd gate before robo maybe because he feared a proxy 2 gate goon allin (free actually tried to do this vs Bisu on Byzantium, remember?). plus what if they just proxied a pylon somewhere and didn't hide tech, instead expoing? free's robo was late yes but its pretty hard to defend that early a DT
Wow, I thought the generational change in CJ was going on, but I was wrong. It already happened. Effort, sKyHigh and Movie at least assure some continuation of the much, savior, iris figures.
