How do you define "chance"? Savior didn't have a "chance" to win that game. BackHo could sit in the middle of the map doing nothing, let firefist rebuild and kill him. They should never have given the option to admit defeat to FireFist. He can't claim a win here without being crucified.
Referees should have stayed objective and either given FireFist the win or just say the game was over already so Backho wins. None of this asking the players crap.

Not really, it's common for pros to want to GG back before the other guy leaves the game.

That's KeSPA's rule, yes. It forces a degree of gm between players, and formalizes wins/losses.
Watch the final match of OGN vs KHAN PL grand finals last year...Jangbi won by building elimination, as his opponent (whose ID slips past me) refused to gg, and bad manneredly built random pylons all around the map...-____-;;

How do you define that... It's Kespa, it's OSL, not just some random game between your friends where you can say that the person who was winning won. You can't just decide in every game if they have a chance or not. What if the situation was a bit different, say firefist still had like 10 hydras in his main, although he still was way behind? And then backho GG's first, how do you define if he had a chance or not? Don't you get it -_- You need set rules for these things.

I think it was because the game was clearly BackHo's, but technically, it should have gone to FF. That's why it had to be resolved as thus...otherwise, I agree, KeSPA should have straight given it to FF.
Perhaps KeSPA, in matters like these, want to give the decision to players so they can avoid being villified no matter the decision...it keeps KeSPA out of that whole thing. haha
