I don't fucking get that people say that "Stork's strat was fucking good in game 4"
I think that "IF YOUR OPPONENT IS STUPID TO DOUBLE NEXUS IN A PVP MATCH, it's really like auto-loss vs every viable pvp builds if scouted, if stork went 4 gate goon or some shit like that, it could work very well too, but yeah only good part of his strat is imo that proxy shield battery, nothing more.

The world is slowly righting itself once again; Savior is starting to show life again, iloveoov coming back to SC, Boxer moving back to SKT1, Stork losing....

How is that vindication? Kal helped Stork beat Best, perhaps for his own benefit but he did it nonetheless. It's vindication if you think Best is sitting at home sucking his thumb and cheering that the guy who helped Stork beat him has now beat Stork and has a chance at an MSL while Best is not even in a starleague anymore, unless you count GOM TV Classic 2. And Kal beating Stork doesn't dispute that Stork >>>> Best, not even in the slightest.

It vindicates the argument that Stork hasn't taken Best's place as the preeminent Protoss, when Kal beats him days after his OSL victory. What does that say when your ability to do well rests so heavily on practicing for a certain match up, that you have trouble versus a(47.50%) Protoss without extra practice?

So, what has Best done besides NOT win important series in starleagues recently? Beating up on mostly second tier Protoss players in PvP, cheesing boxer, and losing to a lot of Zergs- Best was hardly the undisputed Protoss king. Maybe he was PvP king for a while, but Stork beat him convincingly in a series, so that leaves Best with little to call him the preeminent protoss.

I'm not even a Stork fan, even though I definitely prefer him over the feminine protoss duo of SKT, so I have no reason to exaggerate anything. And the truth is, he has had a lot of matches to play, even since the OSL semifinals where he had to play Forgg with what was probably not much practice and still beat that TvP monster, and then played a Zerg in the GOM tv match. And he's probably putting a lot of mental focus on his OSL final, and rightfully so. This close loss to Kal does not put Best above Stork.

I just finished watching the series. Kal played damn well, and, yes that word, it looked like Stork choked a little in the last game. In the fight at Kal's natural, his control was simply bad and he fell behind - Kal exploited that afterwards.

wow, stork really didn't prove anything in this series. Kal made stork look like an average toss.
In game 4 there was nothing pimp imo, just perfectly done counter vs pvp fe.

I hope Bisu takes the title

Kal played really smart this series. I guess being the underdog took off a lot of pressure, but still, he deserves all the credit. I love Kal, and I think that with a better game reading he could climb to the protoss olympus, but as of right now, he is not a better protoss than Stork.

In this series, he completely won the mind game, something Stork is not really good at, but I don't know what will happen if he faces Jangbi. This guy has the killer instinct Stork doesn't.

I'd love to see Nada do it again and win it all, but if Free wins, I really hope he can take it home. If both fail, fuck, let Kal win it.

I wish Stork didn't get to scout Kal first on game 4. THEN, it woulda been interesting.
I'm so glad Stork got his ass 4 gated. I wish Kal's DTs did more everygame...

I love you Kal, thanks for beating Stork for me. =).

wtf. i agree with him though. im not a stork fan. yes, its nice to see some dominance in him and come the fuck on, its a mirror game, its 50% win/loss, stork couldve had a bad day. i think hes mainly practicing more for pvt(vs fantasy) than pvz or pvp, given the fact that yes, he bested best. best > kal > stork, but it could have been best > stork > kal or whatever, look, its mirror, it doesnt put best as king of protoss. i think stork claims it, atm anyway. HOWEVER, if he LOSES to fantasy, then i would eat my own words and say yeah, best > stork because im pretty certain that best would easily beat fantasy. but then again i have faith in stork this time, the big names are out of his way: forgg, jd, flash, best... stork should beat fantasy easily but if he chokes. sigh. he wont have another easy chance at this kind of stardom again and fantasy will walk the epic road.

We need friday night to happen already so Stork can lose to fantasy and silence the stork fanboys.

Half the people joining the bandwagon now will abandon it when stork loses.

He's one of the best, but I just don't think he can win a starleague.

well i watched two of three games of this series, and two of them had nothing to do with the fact it was mirror mu. stork just didn't play as good as kal. (the third one was kal's fe which stork countered well.)
