Expansion CC done for Fantasy now. Mind is sending out 3 tanks / wraith (with cloak) and some SCVs towards Fantasy. Does Fantasy even have detection. He sees the wraith now! Bunker being set up near Fantasy's ramp. But still no definite pressure for Mind.

Mind appears content with containing his opponent and starts a CC at his natural. He is down one factory though. DUal armory coming for Fantasy, who still does not have means of detection. Fantasy about to lose his scouting raxx.

Maybe - just maybe - folks are right. Maybe GGplay doesn't have as much raw skill, or whatever you want to call it, as Flash. I don't agree, I think the games he played during this OSL and the last one say otherwise, but for the sake of argument I can see it.

Still don't buy him not deserving his win, though.

So many "good" players with tons of "raw skill" choke and lose when it counts, time and time again. In fact I think there's a guy famous for doing that coming up next.

GGplay? He doesn't do that. Instead he's got a dose of "elevate my game and WIN when it counts."

I like him.

2nd factory started for Mind too, who is still happily containing. Scouting wraith almost gets shot down by 2 new Goliaths. FInally dies to 2 rines over the natural. So far Fantasy is a little ahead, as the early game aggression gave no real profit to Mind.

Fantasy is the first to add to 4 factories. He should be aiming for dropships soon. Still 5 tanks and a bunker in front of his natural. Neither has expanded to the little Island inside their base yet. Starport done for Fantasy.

Now Mind is upgrading something, a late cloak for his wraith?? I would hope for him to be building dropships by now. No, it's another wraith. Fantasy now with a good grop of Goliaths.

Some tank shells exchanged at Fantasy's natural, one of Mind's tanks goes down due to repair on Fantasy's. Fantasy slowly advancing, Mind failed to provide LoS fast enough, so he loses some. Fantasy also loses a few tanks.

Dropship on its way for Fantasy, but it is shot down by 3 cloaked wraiths! This were maybe 2 tanks? Mind is reinforcing his contain again and starts to shoot down the floating barracks. Fantasy with a BUNCH of minerals piled up, he nearly has 1000. Mind is placing turrets all around fantasy's main base. Fantasy expanding to his little plateau.

Turrets all around Fantasy's main base, but with 3 bases running he does not look troubled. He is adding a bunch of vultures and Goliaths, to compensate for his lack of gas. Maybe he will use those as flak for the pushbreak. Maybe 10 tanks in front of Fantasy's base, a break would be ill advised. But fantasy goes for it and instantly loses his vultures and subsequently the tanks.

I can't believe ggplay won that. So far I've expected him to bomb out in a huge fireball at every round and he keeps refusing to lose. Especially against Flash of all people.

Still there's absolutely no doubt that Mind/Fantasy will crush him, and if that doesn't happen then there's no way that he can beat Stork in the final... er..

God I can't believe GGplay might actually get a second OSL.

The contain has been there for about 5 minutes already and Mind has turreted all around Fantasy's base and sieged on the high ground..

Mind is slightly ahead by supply now. He established a solid link of tanks near the cliff of fantasy's base. This is a real HUGE contain right there, fantasy would need BCs to break out of this.

He uses some vultures to kill 3 tanks, but does not effect much. Many facs running and vultures pumping now. Mind has his circle of siege complete by now.

Fantasy sends out four vultures and escapes. He might break into Mind's expansion with them.

He does, but some wraiths come in for the defense. There is movement in the whole contain now, as vultures are going out and harassing the tanks sieged on the ledge.
