lol, maybe he was good then but who cares? His games recently are super boring rapes. He got demolished by BeSt in group stages, barely beat Light in a pathetic game on Medusa, got manhandled by Flash in the last OSL so bad it didn't even look like GGPlay was trying, played an hour long ZvP with Stork that was godawful and he lost...
I'm happy to see a TvZ semi and I hope it's interesting but I think GGPlay is gonna get rolled like he should have in the group stages... :/. If Fantasy can't do it (and he probably will) then BeSt defintely will. And if it's GGPlay v Stork then LOL, that is going to be a boring final for sure. At least it won't be 3-0 though.

GGplay is Stork's one of the very few opponent/nemesis who has significant winning percentage. In the group selection Stork clearly mentioned that he didn't want to play GGplay in the same group.
Edit: just used the TLPD and the stats were 5:1 favoring GGPlay. And the last one loss is from an hour ++ long game where Stork just BARELY won.

WOW. WOW. You have never seen the GGPlay vs Iris finals. You are an idiot.
Seconded. Flash lost and his TvZ isn't as good as you think it is. Deal with it. GGPlay pulls out many epic TvZ games, I'm looking forward to him playing Fantasy although I think the maps will be too much in Fantasy's favor for him to win.

Wow... I kind of wanted Midas to win. He got dominated though BeSt is so good. Stork didn't choke, and wow Flash. Lol. Oh well Fantasy won I want him to go all the way. He looks like boxer imo

I'm sorry Bisu. It should have been a bo5. I feel Storky will finally take an OSL now.

I'm hoping for a fantasy vs stork final. that would be epic and I would be happy if either win.
although another silver for stork would be insane

Not Barely won....Stork raped GGPlay...

Everyone dissing bisu for fighting uphill, what the hell else could he have done? That's the only way to break out into the middle.
And you noobs should try fighting uphill battles to see how hard it is before saying he screwed up.
But i do however believe he would have won this game had he made one or two observers and succesfully sniped stork's. Not having complete vision uphill made him lose most of those battles. He didn't have vision of storks reavers, and stork had maphack basically.

As in, camping below Stork's ramp and/or falling back to exp, then running back fighting uphill. Had he maintained the high ground position after taking the exp down, I think he'd be hard pressed to screw the match up from that point. Then again, don't underestimate Bisu's capability to trip over himself.

If I'm not mistaken, it's the one on Gaia from WCG 2005 I think? Epic game.

You clearly don't understand how Zerg players work if you think GGPlay "maybe was good" but then who cares. July is the same way, they are streaky players who get hot for one league. If they are "hot" then they are super entertaining and awesome to watch.
I think GGPlay is going to beat Fantasy and then beat Best or Stork.

I don't know what facts I would have to check, I never said that Flash has a winning record vs GGPlay or that GGPlay didn't win Daum or something. If you mean what I said by "got manhandled by Flash in the last OSL" I mean EVER08 not Daum.
I just mean now the guy seems awful to me. At least July had some convincing games last season when he won.

This is where we are disagreeing about GGPlay... what game from this OSL by him has been super entertaining? He got walked over by BeSt, literally walked over... GGPlay didn't do anything in that game. All he did was build lings and lose. He beat Light in IMO one of the most poorly executed 1 base builds I've seen recently by a Terran player... that game was pretty awful. He beat Rock in a game I didn't watch... but I seriously doubt it was anything more than Rock failing harder than GGPlay could fail.
The only 2 games I'd give GGPlay credit for are games 1 and 2 of the series v Flash. Game 1 he executed the perfect counter to Flash's mech build, and game, 2 besides his failed all in, was pretty entertaining from both sides. Game 3 he got lucky. And luck is obviously a part of Starcraft, but I think it would be a hard argument to say GGPlay would have won game 3 without that mine drag....
The only argument I think besides luck that makes sense for game 3 is that Flash lost the game more than GGPlay won it... which I would agree with.
GGPlay still has time to show some cool, exciting play, but I haven't seen anything from him that impresses this OSL. All I'm complaining about is that it seems like he just got a lucky game 3 and everyone is ready to put him at #5 on the powerrank, like his skills are suddenly top tier...which I don't agree with.
All my opinion of course.

You're expecting GGplay to beat Flash on Plasma? I was just about to say that. Flash might lose 2-0 and he might win 2-1 but he definitely won't lose 2-1. And look what happened.
