I really want fOrGG to win here.
He's just like Mind - won his opponents unexpectedly one after another. These top players include Sea, Flash, and Kal!
The map pool looks very good for fOrGG as well Not only that, they are both teammates, so fOrGG, who has shown to be an expert at analyzing his opponents playstyle, has an advantage because he and jaedong probably have a lot of reps together of their matches.
GO GO GO GO FORGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ForGG > Jaedon (3-0) with bunker rushes. Jaedong quits StarCraft and becomes a nun. Life will be good.

5 pool game 1, drone drill game 2, a str8 up zvt game 3. 3-0 july....i mean jd

rooting for fOrGG here :D but as already mentioned here, teammate factor makes this hard to predict seems that gom finals will be the most epic after all btw
|
Wow, I'm thrilled at how many ForGG fanboys there are here. Excellent, perhaps I will move up on the LB a bit rather than staying static :D
Teammate factor won't mean shit. If you saw Jaedong's destruction of Lomo, Flash and H. you would know ForGG doesn't stand a chance even with a slight map advantage.
Boooring finals. He'll do the same thing JulyZerg did by ripping out ForGG's heart and then eating it like Hannibal Lecter.

Jaedong will rape forGG 3-0...or maybe 4-0 ig its Bo7

Imo the only map that favors terran a little bit is Tiamat. Colosseum 5-2 - This could easily be a 4-3 so don't count your chickens before they hatch. Actually I can't see ForGG winning on this map, imo it's an even map that totally fits Jaedong's style. Othello 15-9 - Very even stats actually, I remember Arcadia which seemed super-imba in the past favoring zerg over terran, then starting to even out until it was almost 50/50. I think Jaedong will lose though unless he can handle the drop-heavy late game. Tiamat 4-0 - Very short of games but those that have been played looked convincing. This one will most likely destroy Jaedong but since he knows how bad his chances are on Tiamat he will probably do some really strong timing build like 2 hatch muta/lurk or 2 base hive which is very hard to handle. Athena 2-2 - No doubt, we'll see a great game on this map just like Jaedong vs Much was. I think ForGG will type out in the late game.
So if everything goes right it should end 3-2 in anyone's favor. I believe ForGG has good chances if he can abuse the Tiamat imbalance but if not he's gonna cry like Boxer when he lost to oov.

ForGG "knowing" Jaedong's play and preparing builds for the maps is not going to matter. At the most it will give him one game, but nothing more than that. Jaedong is simply going to out multitask ForGG and steamroll him in late game. Jaedong's ZvT is miles above ForGG's TvZ, no matter what the statistics say. ForGG is just not going to be able to handle something like what Jaedong showed in his third game with Lomo. Jaedong is going to take it 3-1 with ForGG taking either the first or second game with a cheesy prepared build.

On current form Jaedong won't get cheesed. He's going to 9-pool almost every game and be very wary of sunken breaks. There is no way JD loses this.
|
Gogo Jaedong, OWN this noob

i am rather hyped, but just because i lost all my hair when i voted for forgg
|
I think ForGG has a better chance of beating Jaedong than just about any other terran at the moment yet everyone is writing him off without a second thought. I've been very impressed by Jaedong's play lately but I'm still cheering ForGG. I think this will be a close and entertaining series with ForGG taking it 3-2 or 3-1.

I hope JD will win 3-2, i just love this monster.

Wow the JD fanboyism is OVERWHELMING... you guys act like ForGG is a scrub or something.

Jaedong's strong gamesense and versatility in ZvT are the things Forgg is best positioned out of any of the consistent Terrans atm to counter (because of the fact they are in the same team). Jaedong has had his comeback wins and his triumphs and beat Hwasin - but this time I suspect it will be different. Forgg seems to be a lot more calculating than Hwasin, because where Hwasin tripped and fell (reading difficult opponents), Forgg has put in the effort, the study and the determination - even improving his previously imprecise and simply dire TvT to where it is now.
Right now his macromanagement is probably unequaled and his gamesense has really improved. The real question is now as to if Forgg will lift his game to the heights necessary to make this interesting. Because Jaedong will, and I personally feel if Forgg lifts his game again and keeps a clear head about it all on these maps, he will win. After all - and let's be perfectly honest about this, Forgg's entire existance is defined by always having more units than the other guy. Combine that with someone who probably knows Jaedong as no other Terran does, and Forgg is posed to take this.
With that in mind, this may well go 3:2 either way. However, if Jaedong wins I think a score of 3:1 is more likely.
i think your getting the wrong idea. if works both ways. i bet you jaedong will study forgg as well.

I'll only say: Jaedong is not Flash. They're not similar in anyway (obviously ).
There are ofc factors that will be in favor for forGG, but Jaedong will take it down 3-0 or 3-1.
He's invicible atm

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about the ForGG fanboys.
I'm not even a Jaedong fanboy. Hell, I took Lomo over Jaedong before and I believe Lomo had a better shot.
You cannot overlook the facts. The only way ForGG is going to win is if he gets Jeadong really drunk the night before, or drugs him.

Hoping fOrGG wins this, but I really find it hard to bet against Jaedong.
