Best was sweating like crazy in that last match, he was outclassed. He got beat in every way possible. -rush beat him -late game beat him -micro beat him -macro beat him -nerves beat him -strategy beat him -mental toughness(or lack thereof) beat him July slaughtered him in every way possible, it was a massacre. Could Best TRAIN and IMPROVE and win the next time they meet? Sure. But to say that either 1. Best is better than July right now or 2. Best deserved it more Proves you do not know the difference between potential and current reality. Just as Best COULD win more in the future he could fall of the face of the gaming world, or July could go on a second streak of unheralded domination. And if you said July can't macro, or that his style is rush heavy because he can't macro, whos to say that his opponents aren't bad at micro, or that they favor macro because they lose so many units that they have to? Whether you are better at micro or macro doesn't matter. What matters is who is better in a series of starcraft matches. Its a level playing field. Scout and prepare for rushes, it isn't illegal. I remember specifically a game savior had where he didn't scout and a protoss player put a tower behind the minerals at sav's nat. Game over. A rush isn't an instant win, its a huge RISK that will pay off if you're opponent isn't prepared or if you are just so much better than them that you micro it into a victory anyway. Think about this - maybe if July ONLY focused on macro (ignoring rushes and preparing to counter them) than his macro would always be on the level of Best. O wait, that happened in game 3, so its already come true. Honestly, Im just amazed at the amount of stupid things being thrown around in this thread, like trying to win an argument by using a dictionary, lol. | ||

Coming into the finals, they both deserved to be crowned champions due to the fact that they beat everyone else and made it into the finals. But AFTER the finals, JulyZerg proved that he deserved it MORE by winning it. Props to Best, but its really July's OSL. Read the interview (thanks to Siz.Fantasy), then tell me July didn't deserve to win it. You may be the "Best" (pun intended), but that doesn't automatically make you deserving of anything/everything. You still have to earn it.  | ||

second; to all protoss players, dont dispear. Protoss has wayyyy more good players then zergs has. The problem is that there isent a really good pvz that can beat Jaedong, July in a serie. If you see att the proleague stas protoss has advatage over zergs. Zergs are the ones that should be worried in the future. | ||
