pandora live doesnt broadcast ne thing. its the people who broadcasts shows, movies. etc. pandora has contract with almost all TV stations in Korea(Except SBS). so ne one can broadcast ne channel on TV through Pandora legally as long as it isnt SBS.So it basically depends on if ne user is broadcasting MSL today.

The bunker was finished and Up fialed to kill it.

Up managed to make a tank. Now he can fire away at the bunkers. He is working on ther bunker behind his minerals.
Up is still mining gas btw which is outside of bunker range. Canata going for a strport. All up has is one tank, he will not be able to kill the wraiths.

I really dont understand this trend with the so precious scv/probe/drone not send for scouting in the beginning, especially on 2 starting positions maps, I guess this is some kind of internal agreement among the teams so the audience will have the chance to see working cheeses..

I think this works on deeper levels than you, and for that sake, I, can understand. In a map with 2 starting loc's, it's MUCH harder to cheese. The base will be scouted, and the cheese will be discovered immediately.. A lack of rax, no gas, etc..
Knowing this, Upmagic decided to get the ever-so-slight but ever-so-important advantage over his opponent by taking out the hardly necessary scouting SCV, and waiting to scout until later.
Knowing that Upmagic may do this, Canata took advantage of the opportunity.
Of course, this is just 1 possible explanation.

Always assume that progamers are better at Starcraft than yourself. There's nothing wrong with questioning an action to try and find the reason and logic behind it so that you can emulate successful play in your own game, but you, like others, seem to jump first to the possibility that there is some conspiracy, before you entertain the idea of it being part of a grand idea that you might not understand.
I really mean no offense by this, I'm just saying.
Mirror match-ups are delicate and any advantage you can gain is one worth taking. This was a calculated risk that didn't pay off, unfortunately for UM.

Having played a bunch of tvt's myself I can see why upmagic decided to not send an early scout, even though it is a two player map. I remember on bluestorm I would usually send out an early scout to look for cheeses from the other T, just because I knew it was pretty common on bnet. However, I assume upmagic has played enough practice games himself to calculate the odds of the possibly that it will happen.
It really has a mental impact when I find out or see my opponent putting up their expansion before me, and I guess upmagic did some analysis and thought it would be wise to play a certain style against canata. However, I think we can now look closer at canata's meditation prior to the game and see if it is something common he does before he does an unorthodox or cheese strategy. Call his bluff.

Mutas are out but they meet 4 turrets at the natural. The mutas have not done much damage. Sea picking off a couple mutas for a few rines. The scvs were not touched.
Sea is moving out with a sizable group of mnm.

Well-put. And as a T player myself, seeing the opponent get the first command center has a pretty big psychological effect.

I didn't get a chance to look at Sea's turret count near his main (and I didn't see more than one), hence I was surprised Luxury crashed straight into the four turrets. He would have held it anyway though.

Mutas just seem like a bad idea on Colosseum anyhow. I think the zerg has to be a lot more straight-up aggressive rather than just harassing.

Sea denies the scouting scv with a vulture.
Canata is getting a starport after his factory. The machine shop is spinning, probably siege.
Canata has one tank chilling in his hat. Sea has gotten a starport as well but has that extra fact. He also has goliaths out and a scanner building.
Looks like the wraiths of Canata wont do much.

Nothing going on jsut a macro TvT development. Players are spreaading their siege tanks all over the map and expand.
Canata is adding the 5th and 6th fact. Sea as well. Both are roaming hte map with tank/gol/dropship.

Canata drops the cliff above the 11 ceter nat. scv run but ouch! the tanks on the cliff are taken out easily by Sea who had lots of forces in the vivinity.
Canata sieges behind the cliff now AND MISSES AN OPPORTUNITY TO KILL ALL THE SCVS THAT WERE MASS STACKED.
Canata drops a few tanks onto the cliff again but Sea defends clearing the drop.

Canata has expanded to the 3 min only and to the 7 main where the cc is out of position.
Sea is still on 3 base and is only now building cc at 12 min only and looks to take 1 main.
Cnata being cute again cliffing the 11 center with 4 tanks. OH Sea looses like 3 defending tanks, he is slow to react to that drop. He looses 2 additional tanks there.
Sea is not mining from anywhere and types out.

Sea should have expanded again way earlier. By that point the main was empty and with the center expo always harassed he had effectively 1 mining base to Canata's 3 (nat, center 5 and 3 min only.)

While I was unimpressed by Sea's play, I must say that Canata really did play a quite strong game there.

CANCELS HATCH. Lings almost out.
Up brings in like 7 scv and 3 rines against the drones.
Lux loosing many drones. Now there is a bunker at the ramp of Lux. Lings are picking off scv.
A sunken is done in the main and is in range of the bunker on ramp but the damage is done.

i don't know why you guys were saying luxury played poorly that game "noobfest" or whatever the hell you guys were talking about
he responded perfectly in that situation. his ling pressure was excellent, the decision to go 1hatch muta when he only had like 7 drones was excellent as well. then followed up by his double expo timing? sick play. not only that but he had excellent micro with his mutalisks.

To clarify: cancelling hatch was good, 1hatch muta was good, the sunk placement was perfect - he lost his muta vs like 2 marines, when he had like 2 mutas to watch out for. That, I called failure on his side. Aside from that, Lux really did a clutch comeback. And Up played like piss, I guess noone is debating that.

Err lux looses a lot of lings to a ball of mnm. Sea has good unit production. His vessels are coming out.
A huge ball of mnm busts the sunkens at the 12. Mutas come back with 2 ultras however the hatchery is doead before the mnm die. Lux back to 2 base, now trying to make one at 3.
Luxury is going to loose this game.

he didnt have enough gas at ALL, he needed scourge and more ultras to deal with Sea's massive amount of MM and vessel. He didn't have three gas running for more than a minute or two, because when that third finally happened his main would have been nearly depleted.
Luxury lost that game because he couldn't kill Sea with his ultraling. Its a VERY good build, but you need gas, and Sea shut all of his shit down.

Also, if he hadn't suicided his Ultras into a marine ball, getting defilers would have been NP. On the other hand, if Sea hadn't wasted his vessels like that, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

While that particular fast ultra build is an okay one, it's nothing short of suicide on a map in which nearly every expansion can be defended at a very small choke point. Defilers are necessary here - it's as simple as that.

Canata has always shown very high level TvT. His TvZ is inconsistent, one of the very best when he's on, and "average" when he's off. His TvP has been a chronic weakness.
The results of this group were pretty predictable. The only unpredictable match IMO was Luxury vs Sea on Athena.
Poor Upmagic just had the bad luck of getting stuck in a group where he'd have Terran killers in both his games.

He couldn't skimp on ultras or he'd be totally fucked, and that means he'd have to skimp on scourge, which means he'd lose anyway. Did you see how many ultras he had at one point? At least 10. If defiler mound and consume would cost the same as one. Plague wouldn't be needed. A defiler would cost the same as another. More ultras might be better in the time after an ultra cavern finishes because about 7 ultras are better than 4 ultras and 2 defilers when the armies are small, and the extra force early on might briefly give you stronger map control long enough to enable taking another expo, for example. But when the armies are so big defilers are a must.
the point you're missing is that Luxury wouldn't have had enough defilers to properly defend AND attack, especially if he didn't research plague. Sea's army was MASSIVE, and split in several different places. He always had sufficient defense at his nat and his middle expansions, as well as a large army roaming around the map. With so many vessels (even though he lost a bunch, he had so much gas they were easy to replace), there is absolutely no way Luxury could have held off Sea's repeated attacks with defilers. Additionally, without Plague, Luxury wouldn't be able to do any significant damage to Sea either. It costs a Terran nothing but time to lift a command center and irradiate the defilers and ultralisks under the swarm. And while he's doing that, he can attack somewhere else because if Luxury is attacking he sure as fuck doesn't have gas for defensive defilers at home, because he'll need to replace the ultralisks he lost.
Sea's aggressiveness against Luxury's expansions won him that game, and it was over before Defiler could or would become a factor.

Canata has always been very, VERY good at TvT. Even when he was playing like total ass he was capable in TvT.
I definitely hoped that Sea would win, but this group played out pretty much how I thought it would. Sea vs Luxury on Colosseum was a lock in my mind, Canata would beat UpMagic, and then Sea vs Canata would be a coin toss. If Sea won, Luxury would advance past UpMagic and Canata. If Canata won, Sea would advance past Luxury in the final game. Lo and behold, that's what happened

Would you consider Luxury's insistence on taking the far right expo a mistake? He eventually realized that he couldn't hold it, so he took the one cloes to his third, which was defendable. But by then the game was already over.
If he took that base to begin with, he's be at 4 gases and while in the long run, Sea probably woulda wittled him down, he woulda put up a better fight

poor lux tho hes in danger of dropping out of both leagues, although in osl noone messes with my man julyzerg, you pick him for "freewin" karma sends your brother into same group AND makes you drop out of both leagues not to mention getting totally outplayed by that "freewin"

Ha @ last game. I really think Luxury could had gotten defilers. It's probably the timing of the tech switch which is hard. Like people often mentioned, it's only minus 1-2 ultras to have defiler tech. When he won in the open field with 10 ultralisk, that would had been a good time to get defilers. Throwing away ultralisk at Sea's expo didn't help.
