Because you know. It's hard being the leader and a champion for so long and coming to grips with the harsh reality of watching the magic slip away.
Multiple losses to FBH when you wanted it so badly. Losses to Ruby and Kal, out of MSL Ro16 for the first time in two years.
A team of players who look to you for leadership almost lost because of you tonight, and you know it. You take the stage now not with the anticipation of your victory or with the confidence in your ability, but with the fear that this one game might be the one that finally indicates that this is not just a slump, but a fall.
Even when you win now, you can't smile. Instead, it's relief, the relief of knowing how closely you avoided completely breaking down.
And so your career hangs on a razor's edge, and he could fall at any moment.
My head and hands write this post as a eulogy, but the fan in me holds onto the hope. I feel the Last Romantic in me as I write this.
Do not despair. Because of you, once again, your team lives to play another day, Ma Jae Yoon.
So remember this moment, remember being a leader, and most of all...
Remember who you really are.
 Nice write up

and I can't stand this OSL group. Jaedong is going to pass, and with his victory comes another failure for Savior or Sea. I don't know which is more upsetting.

Seriously, that was a career-check moment right there.
Crash out of the indiv leagues, then lose the ace match of the playoffs?
When you're not even the ace of your own team...
Just glad he passed it

Man I love how Savior has SO many fans :D I just looked through all 10 pages of comments Korean SC fans left, and could only find ONE single negative comment about him.
Most of them are like

What the christ. Savior plays one of the worst games of the season (vs Chal), but an average ZvZ finisher somehow turns everyone around, "told you" etc. This changes nothing, he still sucks now.

For a guy who hasn't played a ZvZ in the like 46 games, that was quite a performance.

Savior T_T, that was an awsome preformance I thank you and appreciate your tears for your team. Now you can lead on and on, and show them the true powers of the maestro.

This reached my heart.
It's odd how I always disliked sAviOr for being almost invincible and for humiliating every protoss he played.
Now, when I see him losing like this, I found myself wishing he would win. I hope he gets out of his slump.
Go Ma Jae Yoon!

Cool that the CJ coach had faith in Savior as an ace despite his bad results lately. Is that a korean thing (like hierarchys being important) or just good/lucky coaching?
|
savior - undeniably the best zerg ever!
|
T_T Bad move by OGN. They should have used luxury as ace, and used yellow in regular line-up.
I didn't expect both savior AND much to lose, but holy crap savior. coming out of nowhere to steal the match

SaviOr.....
there's hope for you yet.

Savior is not just a man, he is really a legend! He will own beaches now. This is a critical point. SAVIOR, THE BEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME!
