It’s more about the randomness of ZvZ. Right now, his ZvZ win rate is below 50% (30–31). That’s not champion material. His vsT is at 50%, but his ZvP is ~64.5% - way better than the other two matchups. | ||

All you said is that he can't play ZvZ at a high level. you also said that ZvP is not enough to win ASL. Check ASL20 playoffs bracket | ||

the one thing which stopped him before his military service was his own nerves one could feel his aura after he lost the first game to Ssaks BBS during groups and went 4pool in the next game. since last season, soma finally transformed into a complete player with a proper approach towards boX series he's gonna crush Flash in the finals on the most Terran favoured map pool of all time. kinda reminds me of he-who-must-not-be-named during his prime when maps were equally fucked up for zergs but he still persisted by pure will | ||

Hero was going for something interesting, and Soma trumped it with some genius that is the kind of shit you used to see in pimpest plays videos. Yeah Hero fell over this series, and I wish I had more ASL games to watch just like I imagine we all do here, but I think the games themselves were pretty good and the 3rd one the most exciting. Hero's gg timing was a bit of a downer though. | ||
