They are there to commentate games, not to critique physiques and self-esteem... I mean, last time i went on Sayian “proleague watchparty” - which is just nicking the stream of pros with no authorization - he was talking about how his dad had Trump Derangemrnt Syndrom, how there are too many immigrants and how central banks are a scam. That was a week after they started a stream with a homage to Charlie Kirk. I don’t think they mean badly, but it’s painful to listen to this junk. This stuff is so amateurish, they have no business being the official commentators of the biggest tournament in the world. I think they are free to have whatever political opinion they want without it affecting their ability to cast the ASL. I often engage with them on their political opinions on their streams, but I don't agree with many of their political opinions, and I agree with some opinions. I think is great to have differing political opinions and still be respectful towards one another despite the differences. Gives us the possibility to come to a closer understand of differing views without any need for antagonism. I mean they are free to do anything, it’s their house. That being said, if you are trying to build a community over an old video game, ranting about politics in the middle of your casts is unbelievably stupid. These days the formula is to either double down and become an echo chamber for political views, or to avoid anything politics. Middle of the road approaches generally don't work well. I don’t see a world in which talking about your political views in your videos is a good idea if you want to make it as a professional StarCraft 1 commentator. Just makes no sense.
Oh there is definitely a world, but in that world you got to double down on appealing to folks with the same political views and draw them into your little chamber. Become a pro commentator with your own platform and not using someone else's.

I like Artosis. I think he brings to life small nuances that make the game much more enjoyable to watch. He knows and points out variations in trends, what details makes what difference. That’s exactly what you need from a caster, give you an insight into what is going on that you can’t see and don’t comprehend because you don’t have the expertise.
I never feel i understand the game better watching Sayian. But i mean to each their own. What i don’t want is idiotic speculations about someone being supposedly inconfident because they are overweight or having to hear right wing conspiracy theories when i am watching Royal and Snow play each other. It’s also nice when i am being informed i am watching series that are 8 months old while they are presented like they happened this week. That’s not a very high bar to ask for.

They're overall fine, fan of Saiyan specifically, love his approach - i think sometimes things stick out, this YSC Fat stuff being an example, i think overharping on Minis mental waknesses/commentary on his mental strength because he makes faces sometimes sticks out to me. I may just be spoiled from Artosis/Tasteless/Nyoken/Gypsy live casting ASL in the past - Diggity is great too, don't think hes live casted ASL though, wish he would

I think Xun tries to build hype too much with speculative statement I due to my connections with pros and a lot of behind the scene knowledge is wrong. I think less speculative hype building and more in depth analysis is a way to improve.

Thanks for the reply. I think thats quality feedback for these guys. Like you said, overall they are fine, but its good they can think about what you guys dislike/enjoy and try to improve on that.
