Fact 1. Snow has gotten eliminated in the ro4 **3** times in a row. If a coin goes heads 3 times in a row, chances are it will go a 4th time too.
Fact 2. Snow himself said that Barracks was beating him in practice.
Fact 3. Barracks has beaten Soulkey and Mini, (prior ASL champions) in this tournament. He's on FIRE.
I'm so confident, that I will delete my account if Snow somehow wins. Today, snow said he is not confident at all in PvT after getting slapped by JyJ. Snow doesn't seem to have that impeccable vibe we are used to before flash came back. He's been struggling lately and with flash supporting barracks directly it could be a pretty fun match up
yo dont give me copium 😭 i want rax to win

SnOw’s reavers are enough. Barracks will have some nasty flash timing builds but SnOw has the micro the edge them.

snow really boxed effort in in the last game. There was no chance for a muta switch ever. Are ultras ever a thing in zvp?

Sometimes he looks like a Reaver sadist lol. It's 20 minutes into the game, he had taken 9 bases, built a bunch of HTs but didn't use them. Instead he took like 2 control groups of Dragoons and Zealots, and 2 Reavers and played UMS micro full time, getting 30+ kills out of them. Sharp typed gg without ever losing a base because Snow took the entire map and just played with him like that all along

No way Snow is not winning this ASL lol
Think only Soma probably has a chance of beating him assuming Soma advances. Barracks can probably give a scare with dangerous aggressive builds but i'd still put Snow over him.
And the other protoss ? Zero chance lol
Surprised to nexus firsts vs zerg. Usually that's against a terran thing
Honestly watching him stormgrind effort at the final game is like the very principle of his advise to protoss players to just keep calm and storm them till they bleed out

I dont think so. Think people just spam defiler plague/swarm and cracklings and win with that.
Snow just had a giant economic advantage over Effort that game since Effort decided to turtle so he decided to mass expand basically countered his shit from the get-go. An even based or lesser based protoss would have a harder time

I think it makes sense it became a bit more popular when zergs started to also 12 hatch in ZvP more often. Back in the late years of Kespa, 12 hatch really wasn't a common opener in that match up at all.

Normally it's not possible for protoss to expand that much even if zerg goes for far third turtling mode. The reason it worked was because effOrt really went for the impossible by opening pool9 and then faking hydra push and going for lurker. It takes too much time and there was no way for him to catch up. SnOw did the right thing, but for sure, you can't do that with a classic far third since. Zerg is supposed to be able to prevent these expands with zergling quite easily. He is also supposed to have +1 carap air and switching muta in case of low corsaire count. Usually, for protoss, taking third and going reavers for anticipating end game with map ctrl is the most common counter.

That was a beatdown. With Soulkey gone, who can stop Snow?

Soma looks incredibly good. I wouldn’t think he could get so good so fast, but he’s really something else entirely imo. If there’s gonna be a new Flash, soma is it imo.

This is kinda Snow's tournament to lose now and honestly it's been a long time in the making

I think the new Flash is gonna be Flash. He seems to be in the process of escaping the, uhm... "mediocrity" of being "just" a top five player xd

If there’s gonna be a new Flash, soma is it imo. Soma got to stay home for the majority of his time during his military service, which means he could play, just not stream. Was seen frequently on the ladder and even in some offstream games vs other pros.
Was instantly "back" to his level when he started streaming again.

Flash is #1 player still. People put major proleague on a completely different stratosphere in terms of who is actually the best. The consistently best performers in major proleagues are as follows
1) Flash (by far) 2) Soma 3) Light 4) Rush 5) Bisu
Snow has been actually struggling atm

Snow is indeed struggling, yeah. It's sad to see as a fan, but he's had lows before and recovered every time. I'm not worried for him x) Flash has been doing great this month, crushing everyone and everything in vicinity. Very good time to be Flash right now.

Soma in September in Proleague is at 66% overall and 90% ZvP lol. He might actually be better now than Soulkey was when he won the last ASL.
For a while Zerg fans were claiming Zerg was bad and it was just Soulkey, but that's only because Soma was serving military service.

For a while Zerg fans were claiming Zerg was bad and it was just Soulkey, but that's only because Soma was serving military service. I can't speak to Proleague results, but from ASL's: 16 - 4 Zerg in the round of 8, 2 Zerg in the round of 4. 17 - 2 Zerg in the finals. 18 - 2 Zerg in the round of 8. 19 - 3 Zerg in the round of 8 including Queen who took finalist Best to 7 games. 20 - 3 Zerg in the round of 8.
Outside of Season 18, you cannot reasonably claim that Zerg under performed.
