After peaking in season 8 he got eliminated 6 times by Zergs (Larva, Soma, Hero, Queen, ggaemo, and Hero again). Obviously as his PvZ during this time was pretty weak. Around season 15 he upped his PvZ but got knocked out by Soulkey 3 times (15.17,18). Season 16 was the shock loses to Killer and Royal (who at the time had like 20% win rate vs Snow).

He's likely to get Soulkey again this time and if he doesn't do it now, it'd even be harder with Flash and Soma coming back next season.

Otherwise, I traced Flash's TvZ (broadcasted) last month and there was only one time he lost to Zerg (Hero) with that build, but in that game he made a crucial mistake (Goliaths move out, Mutas move in, Gols keep moving, but then return after almost reaching an undefended Zerg natural).

Most of the times with that build you see Flash building up Goliaths for 10+ minutes, before mixing in a few Tanks/Vessels and delivering the killing blow to Zerg.
