From the NWMC team:

The foreign mapmaking community has come a long way over the past two years. Our BWM⁴P discord started with only a handful of foreign map makers, but now we have dozens of active members from both foreign and Korean communities, including professional ASL mapmakers and ASL map admins. We are delighted by the unification of the foreign and Korean mapmaking communities through NWMC and the fruitful activities that have been taking place in our wonderful discord server and broodwarmaps.net

One of the most significant achievements of NWMC has been inspiring and producing maps that were subsequently included in ASL, BSL, and ladder map pools such as GOOD NIGHT (by CrystalDrag), Largo (by Latias) and most recently Butter (by Hozzi). Never before has the foreign community been able to exert any kind of influence over the Korean progaming scene. We are very grateful to have had such an outcome and hope ASL continues to consider maps that are submitted to our contest series by mapmakers from around the world. We are also especially appreciative of the opportunity to influence the map pools of foreign leagues and events.

A big thank you goes out to all the organizers who have considered and/or included any NWMC maps in their map pools. We hope you continue to show interest in new and older maps associated with our contest series.
