maybe it's exactly because it's online? maybe some people participated mostly to feel the atmosphere of massive Starcraft qualifiers live even if they knew they have zero chances to get in? Idk..
222 is still pretty decent for a 23 year old game

I think the qualis tomorrow and the day after tomorrow will have more players, remember that this one started early(ish) friday time in Korea, people might have obligations that they have to attend etc.

Mind is doing his military service, Mong is mostly muckbang these days and Soulkey has his military (civil service I think, maybe someone Korean can explain, but I think he can do kind of exempt version of civil service cause the fraud)

Thanks to Cynicaldeath, Osepu and Angryground for fixing up the rest of the LP qualifers for today. I was to tired to stay awake for the final groups to edit them.

Dunno if its just my imagination, but didnt they drop him out of his military service due to psychologic problems after a huge financial loss? He even gave himself the nickname „needmoney“ after that.
And its a friday... maybe he just has to serve a civil service instead? And i would wildly guess that even ex-progamers got to work on fridays in korea sometimes?

Dewalt won against a protoss and against Pure(?). He then lost to Scan.
Scan lost to some guy (can't figure out who) who then lost to Effort.
Effort won the group, 2-0ing everyone including Barracks in the finals.
Group 2 semis were Hero > Ample and Piano > Sea. Piano won the final.
Edit:
Group 3:
Free won against Sacsri in the semis but lost to JyJ in the final
Group 4:
Mong beat Hero/Sexy (don't know exactly) in the final
Group 5:
Mini beat Hyuk in the final
Group 6:
Stork lost to Icarus who then lost to End
Miso won against Mighty in the other semi
In the final: End > Miso
winners:
Effort
Piano
JyJ
Mong
Mini
End
