Unfortunately I think the only way we can watch this is via Daum Pot player, as sc.org appears to be showing mbc on its ogn stream, and yaoyuan stream is still showing mbc as I type this.
If the situation changes for either, please post here to let everyone know. Daum player lags for a lot of people I think

If you mean it's the first BO5 series these guys have ever been in, that would be a no. Rock has played in the OSC Finals against Anytime in the OSC leading up to the So1 OSL.

I'm watching it at yy.com by clicking on OGN: Tvants link.
It takes like 10 seconds here until the page content is displayed, before that, you only see the navigation menu and the Google ads. If that's your problem: wait a bit.

jaedong with 10 ling sin the center lane as well, he makes his move to rock's main with the ling hydra, rock has to bring the reaver over to his main to help, HE ALMOST LOSES HIS SHUTTLE
On July 23 2007 03:06 thedeadhaji wrote: rock has shuttle now, bringing it over to micro the reaver.
jaedong going lair now, has baout 10 hydas at rock's nat area.
jaedong STILL has 1 drone at his nat jesus
His build appeared to be more centered around an all-in style, but now that he's made a tech switch, he appears to be aiming for a more long game styled-play.
However, perfect timing by Rock may have sealed Jaedong's fate.
What is that comercial for? Where the guy draws a man, man eats chicken, computer, see's ultra, ultra gets consumed by defiler, and then he writes something in korean.

Sounds like someone was high when coming up with that concpet

he just won the second game 1-0 on monty hall 2-0 on hitchhiker
jaedong is going to have a hell of a time coming back from this, especially with the last game on monty hall. he really needed to win the hitchhiker game
jaedong come sto rock's main with mutas, kills off all 4 cannons there right away, archon comes but jaedong microing around it, takes 1 shot from archon, some more from goons, forces cancel on 2 cannons, still harassing probes and avoiding the archon like it's the plague.
sick muta micro from jaedong.. kills a LOT of probes while macroing hydras at main. when rock tries to get out.. a whole army of hydras rape him and he is forced to gg..
my stream completley craps out on me, looks liek jaedong like ... oh okay he's going all in with a drone drill at rocks' ramp, rock pulls his own probes to combat, jaedong rallying more lings, jaedong loses vision of minerals as OL dies to scourge, looks like rock has defended it, but bot players REALLY low on workers
LOL dragoon with 11 kills.. both players with EXTRA low worker count.. but rock with alot more zeas.. jaedong play goes wrong and he accept his defeat.. GG
just horrible play by jaedong, he does an all-in zergling+droneslide attack like some 3rd rate newbie and doesnt even do it well but fails miserably, not even close to breaking rock.
if hot bid's karma theory holds any truth, rock is gonna get several new assholes soon.
edit: hilarious ceremony though! was he holding his progamer keyboard bag the way the wwe rock does with his title belts? i wonder if it was intended, hahaha..

Haha, don't you feel like he deserves to be where he's at now though? I mean, beating FBH, Flash, Jaedong is no easy task. I'm SO happy for Rock, being a huge time benchwarmer his entire career, losing carriers to single marines, etc. He's really done something for himself, and isn't that what we all want, deep inside, for the old school pros?
I know its mean, but I consider players like Jaedong, Upmagic, Chalrenge, you know what kind of players I mean, I consider them obstacles for the real players :-) I mean I'd never want to see any of them make it to finals, they don't have that star quality, they would not provide an epic finals, they don't have what it takes. GGPlay, Iris, Bisu, is a whole other level of star quality :-) I never considered Rock to be either one, he's always been there, looking all jawfull, I don't know what to think about him. So he's starting to play real Starcraft now? Good for him :-) Lets see how he does next season.

i really beg to differ on jaedong, violetak:
how can you reduce jaedong to a mere journeyman? he's been pro for barely a year, and he's taken down savior, zeus, xellos, sea[shield], nada, reach, gorush, and chojja in this time to name a few. that hardly qualifies him as someone who isn't a 'real' player. didn't he win the proleague mvp title for his 10-1 record that singlehandedly reversed lecaf's fortunes? (they had an atrocious losing record before he started playing, but i can't recall the exact numbers, about 30-40~%).
he constantly attempts ballsy, aggressive, unpredictable builds, when other zergs are(were) meekly following savior's conservative 3 hatch muta build. so no, i don't think he's one of those faceless, overly technical players (quite the opposite, really). yes, his zvp isn't strong, and yes he hasn't made waves in the individual leagues, but i reiterate, he's been pro for barely a year. he still has much to learn, so much potential to succeed, and i believe he'll be a big star after he recovers from this current slump of sorts.
it took quite a while for people to start taking serious notice of rock, the very man who beat him today too, so let's not get too hasty in dismissing jaedong's ability! i believe the same applies to chalrenge (i remember his sick samsung 3-0 all kill!) and upmagic (does off the wall stuff like bionic tvp, and metal tvz), but i'm not really too fond of them, so i don't know much about them.

I don't think an OSC champion means anything spectacular.
yes, a dude who cries after facing a turtle is manly, and to break down after an hour long game is definitely steady. great craft shown in formulating the use of 74892374247 obviously hallucinated arbiters rushing into chalrenge's base. awesome technique displayed in the way he commandeered them too.
however, full credit to him for the way he recovered and ripped chalrenge apart, and for the good run he's on now.
um, before everyone decides to give mad props to rock, i suggest you actually watch the games. they are abismal. both players really played quite pathetically, and it wasn't a coincidence. it was seriously like watching a public game on bnet. the BOs were uninspired, the decision making was poor, and the micro was embarassing. every single game involved cheese and an obvious avoidance of lategame. players who have distinct matchup weaknesses like these never win anything big (with the exception of casy who got very very lucky with his OSL draw once upon a time).
the thing is, both of these players are deadly against terrans and could potentially take out any given terran on the circuit, which is a shame if you think about it - they will never win a title, but they might take out a potential winner. there are more zergs than protoss' so it probably would have been better if jaedong won. the chances of dodging protoss' are far better than dodging zergs, after all. therock will just get smashed by the first competent zerg he comes across.

Creating .torrent Files I'll use the popular Azureus as an example here, but other programs surely have a similar process. So creating a .torrent file is actually easy, not much to it.
In Azureus:
File menu -> Create a Torrent.
Make sure "Use an external Tracker" is selected, and use http://teamliquid.net/tracker/announce.php as the Announce URL.
Leave "Add Multi-Tracker..." unchecked and leave "Add hashes for other networks..." checked (Not sure if this even matters).
Select "Single File" if you're only doing it for one VOD.
Click next, then locate the VOD file you want to share.
Click next. The default data shown should be fine. Go ahead and check "Open torrent for seeding when done" and click Finish.
It will then create the .torrent file (in it's 'torrent' directory configured at setup).
Now just upload this torrent file to TL.net.
Uploading .torrent Files to TL.net's Tracker Uploading is even easier than creating the file.
Near the bottom of the page should be the link "Upload a .torrent". If it's not there, it doesn't think you're logged in for some reason. (If that happens, try logging in at http://teamliquid.net/ (no subdomain))
Locate the .torrent file, give a descriptive name for the VOD, then click Upload.
If successful, go back to the index page. The new name should be at the top of the listing.
Right-click on the little disk icon and Copy Link/Shortcut for the link to the torrent file.
Now post the \[url\=link\]VOD name\[/url\] so people can download it.
That's it ^^ Remember to seed as long as possible so it helps everyone out.

the fact they are called "Ceremonies' are pretty fucking gay imo.
ontop of them looking really awkward and dorky to do after a computer game, just the name alone is bleh, they dont even do them immediately after winning, they walk out of their little gay box and do it. Sorry but thats lame.

Well, people are making too much fuzz about the whole ceremony thing... At least this wasn't anywhere as awkward as Midas ceremonies - more like the opposite. A little confidence and badass way to perform it it makes it less lame and nerdy in my opinion. On top of that, Rock looks oh so primitive, and it really fit him.
Ceremonies have gradually become more and more rediculous, I literally cringe everytime FBH wins a game, but comparing him to Rock is an insult. Rocks intensity and confidence shines through in his ceremonies and he really brings it to a new level.

just look back 1 year though, you definitely would not have considered iris as having that "star quality".
They don't naturally have it and thus win; instead, they develop it through their victories (and losses).

progamers who can do original and entertaining ceremonies like chalrenge, rock, and zeus should continue doing so, but retards like inter.calm, hwasin (watch mbc vs stx and you'll know why), and midas should stfu, smile, and celebrate with their teams after a win. if they are really overjoyed after a clutch performance, nothing beats a classic fist pump. it's impossible to fuck up too.
edit: chances are, i'll be proven wrong in the future, though..

I understand Sadist's point, but I think that Rock is one of the more genuinely intense progamers who actually is that serious, not just pretending to be. I'm not comparing Rock to fricken Lebron screaming after a dunk, I'm comparing him to Midas making an awkward gesture at the camera while goofily laughing. In that sense, Rock is badass.
And Raiz, you were that guy who whined and bitched every time a ceremony was made. You said that Chalrenge's ceremony "insulted Midas' ancestors" and that his parents should be ashamed that their son acted like that "especially for an Asian."
You need to lighten up, a lot of people on this site like to watch real sports and treat them that way. We don't all want to sip tea and wear white gloves and do gentlemanly claps while watching the fucking tour de france or cricket or whatever the fuck you get these crazy "respectful" ideas from.
And somehow me and other progaming fans who like certain ceremonies because we aren't pussies about it suddenly like "mobile suit gundam" and are immature and childish.
Excuse us for wanting a bit of emotion and fun for these kids that basically are robots practicing all day and show no personality. Ceremonies actually tell us a lot about a ProGamer, and aren't all as "offensive" as you make them out to be.
Why don't you write letters to the NFL, NBA, and every major soccer organization requesting them to ban player celebrations because they offend you or your ancestors? Cry more please.

Anywho I agree with Hot_bid as usual, ceremonies rule, period. I think Rocks ceremony was pretty cool as well, intense and kind of intimidating. He has a badass look on his face the whole time and doesn't hesitate like friggin Midas.
I'm always happy when a toss wins a series over a zerg. Not that there is any major imbalance in that particular MU, but it still feels good.
Besides Rock played very well! A bit cheesy some might say, I would call it creative. His reaver control and general micro is very good.

You are probably just furious because you play zerg and the zerg gamer lost. The Rock played very well and his micro was excellent.
Surely jaedong wasn't all that good but still it was fun games to watch, not any huge macro-fests but micro-intensive exciting games.

the thing is, both of these players are deadly against terrans and could potentially take out any given terran on the circuit, which is a shame if you think about it - they will never win a title, but they might take out a potential winner. there are more zergs than protoss' so it probably would have been better if jaedong won. the chances of dodging protoss' are far better than dodging zergs, after all. therock will just get smashed by the first competent zerg he comes across.
Oh, do shut up.
You are probably just furious because you play zerg and the zerg gamer lost. The Rock played very well and his micro was excellent.
Surely jaedong wasn't all that good but still it was fun games to watch, not any huge macro-fests but micro-intensive exciting games.
True. The games were fine, I don't know where everyone is getting this bullshit.
First of all, rock played a really cool proxy build on Monty Hall, which ISN'T NEW! Every game on Monty is proxy or nexus first, in every matchup. There's nothing cheesey about playing a proxy build on a map that was built for it.
Then Rock used the Much[gm] build on Hitchhiker, which EVERYONE uses. He lost the one game he actually did cheese (game 3, proxy in middle of map, big map) and he blocked a desperate all in drone drill ling attack while playing a standard starport build to win the series.
Rock played incredible, particularly for a guy that has historically sucked donkey ass at PvZ. He deserves mad props and beat forGG, Flash, and FireBatHero to get to the finals.
I'll repeat that, he beat forGG, Flash, and Firebathero...IN A ROW, to get to the finals. The games against Flash and FBH were full series no less.
Rock kicked ass, played one of the most retardedly hard lineups of Terrans to get through, wins the final, and all people have to say is that his ceremony is gay and he played cheesey.
lol... people are taking rock serious now? LOL ~_~ OMG Who woulda thought I'd see the day in SC.
LOL LOL LOL.
ROCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKkkkkkkkkkkkk. Some of you must not remember Rocks' countless disastrous games of yore. You think CreationToss is bad? PUahahahahaha.
Ahahaha, how did the "Future of Protoss" stop being a shtick -_-;;;;;;;;;;; I can't wait til all the ceremony lovers are just crushed when they see Rock take on a real player. GJ vs Flash tho.
He played well but Rock is easy food for anyone with vP strenght. Even his PvT can be horrendous, although at other times it's been strong. Rock:Toss::Kekeerg.

Pantech is the Future of Broodwar!!!
People are just jumping on the bandwagon. To be honest, I started liking Rock only because he was so bad >_>.
I don't think he will make it out of his groups in RO16. GGplay, Iris, and Stork are bound to pick hard opponents for him. Imagine like Rock, Savior, Midas, and random dude. Of course Iris will probably pick Savior for himself cause he's an ass.
rock is playing better than i've seen him play in the past, he's got a new edge to his game, there's nothing wrong with acknowledging that and liking it.

Well done Jens. You just insulted a protoss player that went to the WCG.
If anyone knows BW it's L!MP. He's the closest to Legionnaire in Australia (when he was active).
I'd take L!MP's word over yours anyday because I don't even know who the f*ck you are or what your BW credentials are....
In the future, drop teh "oh, do shut up". It's an unnecessary personal insult that has nothing to do with the argument of how good rock is.
While it's true that Rock has been playing better than ever, he has absolutely no shot for a title. The future of protoss comments about rock have to be jokes If anyone is the future of protoss wouldn't it obviously Bisu, seeing as hes a back to back MSL winner? I'll still be looking forward to Rock's games though.
