A player who has been beating big names like Flash online for the last 2 years and made it deep into most tournaments in that time, now he doesn't make it into ro8 for once and is exposed?? So I guess Soulkey was also exposed last ASL when he didn't make it into Ro8?

By the way, Mini should be immensely popular among the protosses of group C now.

I'm ultra amazed that Light made it through so convincingly. I'm still not a believer, seems more likely that Light just had a pretty good day and his opponents threw pretty hard.

Seems to me that this is one of the very few things that separates the very top from the many contenders - holding strong when the shit hits the fan. Legends like Flash just seem to never even think of giving up... just fight tooth and nail all the time - on a good day AND on a bad day.

You obviously didn't see prime JD or Savior Light has always been one of my favorites. Shocking dominance. Loved it. Agree w/ the comment that mimi's passive play didn't suit his style. Wonder why he went gateway --> expo. I've never seen him do that before.

Action has proven to be the best active zerg in the world right now (may be behind SK) while Light is 2nd in sb matches behind only Flash I've been a fan of Light's since 2006 or 2007, and have had my heart broken so many times in individual leagues with him not performing up to his proleague or practice house standards. So in that sense it's a bit of a pleasant surprise.

I see little difference between Zero and SK from that POV. I actually have been souring on SK's play recently. Feels Larva-esque in terms of how defensive he has become. That said, I don't follow the scene *that* closely; this is simply my intuitive impression from watching everything in individual leagues/KCM the past few years. Guess it doesn't really matter anymore with SK going away for 1.5 years. We'll see what the scene is like then.

Never really got to see much of him.
