Granted, it was an insane prediction, but man, I'm so happy Light really is rejuvenated. I hope he continues to impress in the elimination matches. Terran fighting!

Time for Larva to go back on his stream to be a punching bag lol.
Yeah feels like Larva hasn't adapt to the new meta in ZvT where Zergs go 2 hatch to put alot of pressure on Terran, as Artosis pointed out.

Well played, nice predictions. I trusted Larva here, such a devastating loss.

sad that group C is only pvp, the worst mirror
at least we can see rain doing the impossible things he do, he seems invincible in this mirror doesn't matter what he does

Worst mirror...or best mirror? Reasonably, the real question is who is going through in second place.

Light played suprisingly good TvP against Mini. Maybe the Protoss--episode made him a better player after all 😀

Why are people so baffeled by Larva's dropout? Mini should be the big story here!

Watched series from start. By the way, winners/losers/finals being bo3 worked against Larva this time. He could advance as first after beating first ZvZ vs. Action, 2nd game Larva after breaking up to main threw like 16ish lings only killing 2 drones, still he was on good spot, can't believe he lost that one, his micro wasn't that good. I feel bad for him.

nice work on light advancing, hope he gets a good match. Isn't this predetermined? A1 vs. B2? Unlikely. In ASL7 it was B1-D2, A1-C2, C1-B2, D1-A2 and in ASL6 A1-C2, B1-A2, D1-B2, C1-D2.
Although, maybe they'll change it in a way where A1 will play B2 this time around.

In ASL group winners are getting randomly drawn against second places from other groups, in KSL its predetermined

Larva vs Action was a lot of fun!
Also, light is such a solid player

I was thinking the same. It s nice to see him advance, i have to admit i wasnt a believer

Really fun games today. Pretty disappointed in mini, he definitely wasn't playing to his full potential today :\ . Also though tripod looks really dumb for PvZ? Every other tournament it seems like ASL just HAS to throw in a map with a back-door that protoss needs to cover with cannons to not die to :\ . Really hope mini gets his shit back together for next time.
Very impressed with action and light, hopefully they don't just get 3-0d next round haha. With soulkey leaving to army so soon, maybe action is about to be the best zerg around now? At least until zero can actually make it past qualifiers haha.
It's totally not going to happen but would be so cool to see light make it to the finals. He's been a top player (top 5 terran on and off for like 10+ years) for so long but never made a finals before as far as I can remember (I think his best result was the semifinals of bigfile MSL?).
Larva totally had that bloody ridge game won if he would have just rallied lings/mutas to light's natural after forcing a liftoff. Also if he remembered to bring his queens over once his defiler was throwing down swarms in the second game he totally could've trapped a ton of light's army with ensnare/swarm, but I guess he just didn't have the muscle memory for it.

whooo light. This is great. I know he's going to eventually choke it away but this is great.
