But Snow has been my favorite player (alongside Movie) since a period before his quarter finals vs Jaedong in MSL. This guy is one of the greatest talents to come up at around 2010, yet this is his very first semifinals throughout his whole career. I cannot even begin to imagine how much he wants this. | ||

I guess this is an all-in that the game works 50% some of the time and pulls even in some other cases? He has a 50/50 shot if Snow is right next to him depending on the direction Snow scouts in and it turns out even if it's cross-positions since the dragoon will be out in time? If that assumption is correct it works vs this type of opening in 1/3rd of cases, loses in 1/3rd and pulls even in 1/3rd? Am I missing something? | ||

Even though Mini lose some probes to dts, he had a large advantage there. Something like 8 to 3 goons, but he didn't push it and Snow prepared for the assault as best as one can in that situation. | ||

My reaction to seeing that was comparable to say, if a zerg went 9pool speed, made 10 lings first, protoss saw that, protoss countered by not just building 3 cannons in his natural, but literally 7, and zerg then going 'well I kinda committed to my speedling build' and then building another 16 lings and attacking with 28 of them. That's the level of stupidity displayed in the sparkle game. | ||

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't opening robo on Sparkle quite a risky opening to began with? The standard opening should be Stargate corsairs. But getting screwed by the randomness is no excuse for what happens when he gets scouted by the sair and it starts attacking his shuttle while his shuttle is still in his main base.. there's no defense for this. Accept that you lost your first shuttle and don't try to go again until you have speed. Might as well have just said gg the second he was scouted and left the game, I'd have more respect for that tbh. | ||

Also, SnOw has some real luck with his scouting=) He always get that perfect scout! I guess the sparkle game would have looked a lot different had Snow not scouted him on the first try. Mini's build was more of a 66.6% scout. If Mini didn't find snow with the shuttlescout he'd try another location for his first drop, while Snow needed the 33.3% luck to make it that one-sided atleast. Snow played it smarter and cooler, I think Mini is a force to be reckoned with but he needs a bit more experience from the big stage. | ||

Is there any hope for a real BW European revival with Remastered in mind? I'm not sure if i'm just totally out of the loop.. wish people would at least get back into UMS/BGH as a way to get into 1v1 in the long run. I supported BW through the whole time SC2 has appeared and will continue to do so, i genuinely believe BW will outlast and prove to be the superior game as long as we can pass on our knowledge and passion in a genuine (not fake MLG) way. Also - really sad for Mini and that mistake. Sad way to lose. | ||
