Ajae (pronounced ah-jay) is Korean slang which means middle-aged man. It is mostly used in a slightly derogatory sense. They are poking fun at themselves for being old. All participants are 30+ in age and have completed military service. This is their criteria for being an "ajae".
The Ajae League is something that firebathero has been running over the past few months to great acclaim on an irregular basis and received many views on YouTube. I believe that GoRush is the official organizer of this version, which will be sponsored by AfreecaTV. However, the idea really is a brainchild of firebathero, who has been pushing this format (involving older players) and showing that it can be successful.
Not sure how big prize pools usually are, but seems quite nice to get 2,5M Won for such a little league. Thanks a lot Afreeca for sponsoring all those tournaments!

It will definitely be streamed live on Afreeca on GoRush's page. It should also be streamed live on all participants' Afreeca streams. However, unless there's something I missed, I think that it should be on firebathero's YouTube and Twitch live streams as well.
Happy that these old timers and legends get a showcase, but feeling a bit weird to see such an explicit reflection of BW's overall status as a "senior tour." Remastered can't come fast enough, as a hail mary to try and get kids to play.
NaDa, Hyun, Rock - NaDa and Hyun tried to qualify for ASL S3 so I guess, they're that strong. As for Rock, I don't know. ZeuS, PianO, firebathero - PianO was a critical player in the Team IamMang win at the Team Battle while ZeuS is still quite capable. Firebathero needs to start dancing some more xD Nal_rA, ggaemo, ClouD - ggaemo is in the ASL S3 Ro24. Nal_rA and ClouD also tried to qualify. Pusan, IriS, GoRush - Pusan is in the ASL S3 Ro24. IriS is quite arguably the second best ajae after PianO in Afreeca. GoRush, like IriS tried to qualify for the ASL.

They probably moved today's match. I actually thought ASL day 2 would air on Thursday~ because Ajae League is scheduled for Wednesday (both are Afreeca events.)
nada overall is in good shape atm, i think. He almost qualified for ASL. Lost in a final 1-2. Maybe he's not top16, but still his mechanics are really good.

Yeah, everytime I see NaDa's fpv, his mechanics are still pretty good. And he's supposed to be old haha
