If I give you evileye I'll have to expand team limit for every team. Imo having a player limit for a league is kind of a dumb idea and should really be up to the teams to decide how many players they want to use since they are the ones organizing who plays on what maps. However, a big reason I did put a cap on team size was for prizes because I can't afford to pay out teams of 8 people. That and I wanted to make sure there were enough teams who'd join this league for it to even start (which is not a problem anymore, as we have 12 teams). For instance, don't think this league would have survived two weeks if we had 6 teams of 8 people rather than 12 of 4 people. And then one team completely doesn't show.
Would like to get some feedback from other teams and their thoughts on removing player limit now while I figure out this prize situation. Have around a $200 amazon gift balance and wanted to buy the winners gift cards for amazon but just hit the roadblock where I realized I can't buy gift cards with amazon gift balance. I will figure something out though. I promise one way or another there will be some sort of prize for this league.
I know you're looking for feedback from other teams, I just wanted to throw in that when the league was announced I don't even remember if there was a prizepool mentioned and we signed up primarily to play games so would also be fine with no prize.

This depends entirely on the activity level and availability of the players, which is an actual issue on my team rather than on the number of players itself. However if there are other teams struggling with availability then that's understandable objection of course.

Okay I'm going to PM all the team leaders of the available players (sero, evileye, iopg) and teams who have less players get first grabs at them. If no team with 4 players wants them or does not respond, teams with 5 may have them. Going to give them until 3pm EST Friday.
Also just so everyone is aware, Sigrun and snowfruit have moved to team Dog Manner. iloveav has joined Multitasking Rookies. Going to get in contact with Radley to help fill out his roster.
ps. lolz sorry for how disorganized this is and the constant rule changes. this is all a learning experience for me. so many things i wish i did differently from the start, but i just hope everyone has fun and doesnt feel like anything i do is unfair towards them. trying to just fill out teams and make sure every week can go as smoothly as possible.
