Talking from experience I can confidently say that TT1's offraces are on another level from anyone else in the tournament. Also he ACTIVELY seeks out team melee games, that sick fuck. And he also loves to 3v3 BGH. He would easily be the best team melee player / 3v3er in the league, and top 3, if not top 1 1v1 player.

And yah, having a rotating map pool is kinda f|_|n, but it means we're gonna have 36 maps. I'm trying to have a theme for each week. This week is "maps with close 3rds that aren't behind your base like SC2". Be careful though, I'm warning everyone now one week is gonna be "maps that suck ass" and there is a good chance it is gonna look something like 815, DMZ + Show Spoiler +

Hey quickstriker or Faust if you have the results of last week already, go ahead and post them with who played what and I'll try to keep the wikipedia as up to date as I can.

In fact captains on the day should also just give a text of their lineups with who played on what maps, that way we can keep up, and if there are walk overs.

I can help you with that if Faust is busy. I have text docs/folders that actually said who vs who thanks to Faust compiling them for me for the week 1 cast.

PM me and if you have discord, I can send you the info thru there.

I still need to upload each individual sets/matches for week 1 before week 2 cast on Tuesday on YouTube. Just been busy lately and after officially getting hired to a new job, my mind is all on that lol.

Still should be able to cast week 2 and 3 on current casting time/schedule until job hits on week 4 and find a new schedule/time for it.

Week 1 matchup casts ultimately chosen with suggestions from Faust and after realizing on results that only one had 2-2 scenario and all others having 3-0s. Even without actually opening the reps until we cast, I knew we had to cast 2-2 match. Also because of limited times among casters, I knew we probably only had time for 2 matchups that day. Same cases for each week.

I have yet to receive the reps nor results of Week 2 matches but when I do, I'll most likely prioritize the matchups where teams who weren't casted week 1 will be more prone to cast week 2. But that's also not 100% guarantee.

Lastly I've been thinking of this idea of putting up a straw-poll at beginning of stream where viewers can decide 1 extra game/set (not whole matchup) to cast after the original scheduled cast based on the choices I lay out. So perhaps another 3v3 game, a featured 1v1 that people like most, etc etc.

I think the last part is definitely a good idea. No offense to everyone else here, but if I find out that two good players met by chance and had a tight game and it wasn't casted simply because the rest of the series wasn't of high quality, I'd be a little upset. Similarly though, I'd like to know if two D ranks had an epic slugfest with a twist ending as well. So since Faust watches all the reps and probably gets feedback from some of the players, I think a straw poll with explanation like "Two top players have a great game" or "zerg finds himself trapped on one base... or does he?" As poll options I think that would be a great addition to your cast.

I understand that time is limited but I was a little upset that you don't cast all 5 games; we play them even if we are down 0-4. I think this should be reflected in team statistics as well but I haven't checked to verify yet.

The main reason we don't cast all 5 games is purely due to me and the timing. When we casted last week even though we only did 5 games it put me near midnight and I had to go to work in the morning so I'd have had to go.

Both Qikz and I are limited with our times and with Qikz being 5 hours ahead of my time and me having limited hours, we cannot cast all the matchups. So we try to pick a good 1-2 team matchups to cast. It's not so much that because of so and so result, we cast one over the other but with Qikz & I doing this purely out of interest and hobby with limited time/resources, we just try to make the most of it when we can.

Everyone organizing, casting or even players themselves are basically volunteers to this league. I try to at least announce the results of each matchup in the cast and with further weeks in, we can provide more statistics like where each team stand, strengths/weakness against so and so team and stuff when we have more info.

Once again, last week was Week 1 and tomorrow is Week 2, there's literally less materials to talk about early into leagues than later.

Faust also doesn't watch all the reps, he just checks the result on who wins and who loses to verify that what teams said matches what rep says. He then relay that info about just the results to me. Watching all those 6 matches * 5 sets = 30 games reps per week is madness.

Straw poll if it does happen will just be for a single bonus game per week to cast based on selection, neither Qikz nor me have time to literally watch/analyze each rep we don't cast, outside of casting hours.

Edit: No Straw Poll, checked the times and do not believe we will have time to squeeze out another match besides our scheduled 2 team matches.
