Neo Harmony! ZerO top right, Rommel Terran bottom left. ZerO opens 12 hatch, Mind dispatches a small group of marines to scout for proxy hatch and goes fast ebay. With six marines out he dances about in the middle of the field.

FS. Cross positions. Mind at 7, Zero at 1.
Everything is standard TvZ so far.
Spire for Zero, Mind adding 2 barracks to make his total 3.

Mind adds two more barracks as the Engineering Bay nears completion. ZerO until now has only made Zerglings, and hasn't moved to take a third yet. Mind sends an SCV the long way around to scout, and it succeeds in reaching ZerO's main. ZerO begins his factory and pushes out with a control group of marines and one medic. ZerO sends a squad of zerglings out but he's left 4 marines and a medic behind in case of that.

Mutas popped! nine mutalisks storm out and begin harass, but are met at the natural with four turrets and a bunker, a heavy defense indeed. The mutas are forced to pull back into mid-field, and there's a ton of marines. ZerO reduces the marine count with a mutaling strike, but in the end he's still got 14 marines and 3 medics, headed towards a fresh proxy at the bottom right! A lurker egg walls them off as the mutas try and weaken the oncoming force. The lurkers burrow, and the marines fail to enter! Five new marines show up with a medic, but too late!

Zero manages to get past the main bio army, runs to the nat then goes back after encountering some more bio.
Mutas are out. Zero's third at 5 is finished. Mind has timely turrets up for the mutas.
Zero attacks the bio with mutaling. He shaves off a large amount but had to back off when Mind brings in some more rines.
Mind moves to 5. Zero blocks the ramp with a lurker egg

Mind adds to tanks to his mix. Queen's nest going up.3
Big battle just outside Mind's bridge. Mind microing his troops to outmaneuver lurkers. Zero comes out on top wtf.

The original marines attacking the 4:30 are dead and lurker/ling/muta all at once group at the center. Nine lurkers in a tight clump. Mutas head out to try and deal damage to... the first Science vessel and two tanks out for Mind, which are backed up by a load of marines at Mind's natural. ZerO looking a bit sparse out there, flanks the tanks moves in. Science vessel dies after DMing a tank and Mind's entire force is wiped out, with mutas chasing down the last tank. Mind has almost nothing left, but two bunkers make for an excellent defense. new lurker/ling continues to hinder the new forces until defiler tech, but they're getting pushed back more and more. Siege tech is now available and the Terran vessel count is 2.

Defilers are out! A Nydus connects the top-right and bottom-rigth bases. ZerO has been given ample time to set up. A science vessel irradiates a stray defiler at the 4:00.

Zero tries to keep up the pressure. Mind has good position across his bridge though, Zero loses some units.
With new units, Mind pushes Zero to his third. Mind building his third CC inside his base.

The Engineering bay has traveled deep to ZerO's natural, and a very successful drop shuts down mining at ZerO's main! Firebats and marines in his base.

ZerO gets a plague off on the tank, the terran ball bounces around in the center waiting to be strong enough to attack. Mind has a squad of vultures shuffling about and mining the area outside ZerO's bridge. ZerO scouts Mind's 4th going up at top-left using some scourge. He attempts a drop, but the overlords are irradiated! He pulls back.

Mind drops mnm and firebats in Zeros main. Zero cleans it up quickly with hydras. Mind moves towards 5 again while Zero is dealing with the drop. Swarms stop him so he opts to go to Zero's nat where he is also stopped.

ZerO is prepared to mount a defense anywhere. He kills the vults with a small ling squad as marines sweep in. Goliaths are out, and it seems that Mind has switched to mech entirely. The vessel count is still very low for Mind. Large engagement at top left center, and Mind loses a control group of tanks and vultures to lurker/ling!

At this point, Zero is at five bases, all on the right side of the map. Mind, with map control dancing his units all over the place. Fresh units from the zerg hatcheries begin to contest for map control. Zero annihilates a tank group near 11's nat. He is targeting Mind's new expo at 11.

ZerO makes a decisive strike under Dark Swarm to the top left base, which is fully established with two factories. Ultras are out, and they attack the recovery force. Mind GGs as scourge destroy his remaining vessels! Fighting Spirit goes to ZerO!

Mind's SCV attempts to disrupt ZerO's creep expansion hatch, but another Drone comes and does the job for him. TwoZerglings are out to chase down the scouting SCV.

Two rax and an ebay out for mind. Mind has cut marine production and is instead building his academy and amassing SCVs.

Marine production resumes in full. A spire completes at ZerO's main.

Zero kills all of Mind's marines in Mind's nat. SCVs block the ramp though.

Large ling squad moves in to deal some serious damage. ALL MARINES DEAD! ZerO's lings are against SCVs and Medics! The SCVs manage to chase off the remaining ling, but the two zerglings enter the enemy base. Mutas are on the way! There's no possiblility that Mind can fend this off with his pathetic force. He builds a turret at the natural, and the muta continues to reduce the marine count... then the SCV count.... then the turret count. ZerO is expanding as a new wave of lings come in, this should be it, and Mind GGs as soon as he sees the wave of lings! Odd-Eye goes to ZerO!

This is a crazy map where crazy stuff happens. Mind spawns at 8:00, ZerO at 2:00. Mind blocks off his entrance with his initial barracks. ZerO makes yet another 12 hatch, with gas before pool. What could he be planning?

Mind's scouting SCV arrives in time to see the pool complete. Two lings pop out to chase it off. ZerO places the Hydra Den as the Lair begins to morph. Mind is 2/3 done with his natural expansion. The scouting SCV dies at last outside the base. A Spire goes up as soon as the lair morphs. Only some Zerglings have been produced so far. Mind opts for quick vultures! three of them pursue the lings back to ZerO's base, and ZerO morphs a hatchery to block his entrance like Mind did his. Armory is out for Mind! Will we see Valkyries, or is this simple mech?

Mutas are out as well as 3 goliaths. The mutas have free reign of the area but retreat to thicken the stack. Sloppily, the mutas harass the natural expansion before being chased off by the goliaths. ZerO's third is completed in time for Mind's vulture to find it. The stack now has seven mutalisks and is going in for another hit, but is blunted outright by just as many goliaths! The Engineering bay comes to provide sight!

Mutas continue to take down turrets as Mind rebuilds them. Mind is suffering from this harass, but he's got plenty of SCVs as of now. ZerO adds more and more mutas as Mind adds more and more goliaths. What happens next?

Starport nearly complete. It would appear that Mind... wait! vultures raid ZerO's main and natural and deal severe damage to his economy!

Vultures return and deal even more damage. ZerO needs sunkens to control this harassment!. These 150mineral squads of vultures are going to be the death of ZerO if he doesn't prepare for them. Mind adds his 3rd factory as his science facility emerges. He's still got no tanks - only pure goliaths and a few vultures.

The mutas return to deal more damage to the nat, before getting peppered by charon-boostered goliaths in huge number. ZerO is settling in at his fourth base at 12:00. The mutas return for another run and deal light damage. The vults have returned for another strike, but this time sunkens are waiting for them! They only kill one drone. This is officially mass mutalisk, and the goliaths are being directly engaged by the group. ZerO instantly removes the irradiated muta from the stack and continues the engagement. Mind is not replacing the turrets as much well as he could, and they mutas are baiting the goliaths into the natural and out again. The mutas just keep alternating. Science vessels continue to irradiate, There are 2 of them, and one is destroyed as retreating mutas double back. ZerO still hasn't built anything but mutas, but now adds 6-8 Zerglings to soak it up. Mind's Goliaths are now 1-1, the mutalisks attack the natural with a fresh squad filing in the main entrance with zerlglings, intercepted by fresh mines! Mind has built new vultures and keeps losing the sceince vessels to this squad of mutalisks. ZerO is definitely in the lead, and Mind cannot expand! He can't get any momentum going.

mass muta kills the last few goliaths in the middle of Mind's main. Mind has all but lost now. He successfully harasses ZerO's 4th at 12:00 with two vultures. Mind has nothing to stand against this 1-2 mass muta! He sends a fresh squad of bvultures to ZerO's main to kill no more than two drones!

How come Mind didn't build any valkyries out of the starport? Especially before the science facility was done? I actually thought I saw the starport blinking and thought he was building one but then never saw it. Really great muta control and decision making by Zer0 here.

Mind will soon run out of money entirely. He is being kept in the game by pride alone! Vultures are sent out constantly in the hope of dealing adequate damage. ZerO fails to scourge snipe a Science Vessel and Goliaths finally leave Mind's base in order to chase down an overlord. Vultures have five bases to choose from and can't deal significant damage at any of them. Two control groups of mutalisks attack the natural! What is Mind to do? The CC is dead! Mind completely mined out at his main! Two vessels deal significant damage, but what is Mind supposed to do?

Fighting Spirit, near spawns at Top left for Mind and bottom right for ZerO. ZerO went overpool expand, and scouted in the wrong direction. Mind sends two scouting SCVs out, the second one reaches its intended destination and the initial one is recalled. Mind positions 3 SCVs on his ramp with 3 marines behind them, and ZerO retreats. Mind builds a supply center, which ZerO kills! This entire time, Mind was building a Command Center on his main's ridge. He's preparing to expand. His marines killed most of the lings and pushed out towards the enemy base, but ZerO gets a ling through, which mucks about before getting killed by two new marines.

Mind's new expansion is totally complete, and ZerO assaults it with Zerglings, which deal severe damage. Medics are out and the zerglings are repelled. Mind doesn't realize his supply center is at 23 HP and lets it burn to death! The marines, two medics, and two firebats prepare to assault the two sunkens outside ZerO's natural... or perhaps it's merely a contain! After spotting a few Zerglings near Mind's base, the squad retreats. ZerO has his spire.

ZerO's hydralisk den is nearing completion, and so is his Queen's Nest. This is going to be a very short midgame if ZerO can help it.

ZerO remains on two bases to Mind's two. 1-0 upgrades for Mind's infantry, and no upgrades for any of ZerO's units. His Hive is morphing and two new sunkens are building! ZerO's distant third is morphing now. It's the lurker/muta trick again! Mind decides he's not falling for it this time and retreats from the egg block.

Siege tanks out for Mind at last. ZerO has five sunkens, and the Defiler mound is researching Consume. One vessel out!

Two new vessels join in. ZerO has four bases, but a lot of economic miles to make up! A nydus link to 8:00 helps to reinforce with a new defiler as the 7:00 hatchery morphs in. Is that a dropship? What can we expect from these four drophships? Two are taken out by four scourge, and we have a plague! The Nydus canal is destroyed after the plague on the marines that were dropped. ZerO is in trouble, his defiler is chased down as it consumes a drone at 8:00

Lurkers and lings have been scrambled to assist, as a new Nydus canal has morphed. The remaining forces are two dropships, some infantry, and a science vessel. Lurkers and scourge move to thin those forces out. Mind attempts a drop in ZerO's main, but that is instantly shut down by a bunch of mutalisks on hand.

That 7:00 hatch is all but down. Mind has taken the 12:00, but lost all his vessels to scourge! lurker/ling moves in with defiler support to try and prevent the 8:00 from sharing the fate of the 7:00. Two battlecruisers are out and preparing to attack ZerO's natural!

The two battlecruisers have taken ZerO off guard, but mutas and hydras are on-hand to break it down. What the heck are we looking at here... Mind takes a fourth as he continues to dish out more pressure. A Scourge takes out a dropship containing troops, but the other one unloads at the 8:00. A huge plague on Mind's remaining forces! They are forced into retreat. ZerO has the initiative! He sends Zerglings to Mind's two expansions!

Mind decides not to ATTACK HIS OWN COMMAND CENTER! He has misclicked and all-but destroyed his own command center as lings finish off his defensive marines. Now, he's pulled his SCVs back to base at a perfectly safe base, and finally sent them back,. What the hell is going on in the mind of Mind?

Mind's forces once again assault the main. ZerO still doesn't have overlord speed. Mind's expansions are back up as ZerO takes the 6:00 base. The pressure never stops for 7:00! Ultralisks are out and getting irradiated! Bunker are keeping the 12:00 safe. The two players are finally even in bases.

Ultraling attacks the top left base! mass marine attacks the 6:00, but are annihilated by ultraling. The main attack force comes in to challenge it, but loses vessels to scourge. replacement hatch coming in at the 7:00. Stray ultra getting picked off outside ZerO's natural.

Eraser at 8:00 finishes off all drones at that expansion. ZerO forced to retreat from 6:00 as well! ZerO has no mining bases!

ZerO very quickly repopulates his new 7:00, his 8:00, and his re-taken 6:00. Mind gives up, having been at a massive economic disadvantage for five minutes.

Circuit Breaker baby! Close spawns again, with ZerO at top left and Mind at bottom left. Mind seems to do better in these situations, but he's yet to win one, so HA. Now that's bizarre - Mind build his barracks far off at his bridge. He's going to cheese ZerO's late pool. Looks like a really bad situation for ZerO.

Drones are pulled to defend the bunker rush. Two bunkers being built at once. This is a very vigorous all-in. Repair OP! The outside bunker succeeds although the inside bunker fails. Barely survives. ZerO decides he's lost due to having pulled and lost too many drones and GGs. Them's the breaks in a BO loss.

ZerO had become very predictable with three 12hatches and an overpool. He's been winning with standard macro builds so Mind decided it was time to pull out the hard counter.

And... back to Fighting Spirit. Cross spawns. Mind at top left, ZerO at bottom right. ZerO scouts leftward with the ovie. Fast scout! Mind has decided to cheese again! Is ZerO ready for this? Yes, he is! ZerO has gone for a 9 pool!

Mind scouts in either direction, and spots ZerO's overlord! he knows he needs to send it to cross psawn. But the lings are ready! The marines high-tail it back. He's going to have to defend that barracks to survive! How awkward.

ZerO loses all his lings! He will need to swiftly replace them. Bunker rush is a go! Two drones are dispatched to kill the bunker being built. Zerglings replace them. This is chaos! Mind scrambles to defend his awkward barracks. Finally having enough units, he pulls them back. ZerO's 2nd hatchery is finally complete! The Academy is half-done for Mind as well. Mind is certainly at a major economic disadvantage.

Mind has a control group of marines and starts his natural's command center while defending his bridge. ZerO, behind three sunkens, keeps tabs on Mind with his Zerglings. But he doesn't catch Mind moving out with seven marines, now with 2 medics supporting. The fourth sunken goes down. The fifth. ZerO not taking any chances. He's going to rock this on two bases.

Spire is up. Mind's factory has finally begun, and a few turrets at the natural greet the muta squadron that has begun its approach.

ZerO takes some SCVs and marines down and backs off. ZerO puts down a proxy expansion at top right. ZerO's forces move out to contest it! Looks like they'll be there with time to spare.

Mind is really low on SCVs. ZerO puts down a second proxy hatch on the opposite side of the map, the bottom left, cancelling his top left hatchery in construction. Mind's forces, now with a pre-emptive bunker, have been reinforced with a siegeless tank.

Evo chamber, hydralisk den, and defiler mound all up. Mutalisks suicidally destroy Mind's first vessel and retreat.

Repelled by a dark swarm at ZerO's natural, Mind loses his entire attacking force without taking the under-construction 7:00! He ggs! How unfortunate for him, losing the rematch like that. Does ZerO get bonus balloons?

Boundz, that was Bo3. The Bo5 ended with a 3-0 in ZerO's favor.
Elyvilon, you're probably right, but I think if Mind had assaulted the bottom left, he would have been able to kill the infant 7:00 and the 8:00 as well. But he blundered through and lost everything to the fresh lurkers after tipping ZerO off.

Suprised no one else expected this. ZerO just pushed PianO deep in a Bo5, and PianO thus far has had out of his mind good TvZ. ZerO was easily ready to face a terran like mind.

Of all the Zerg currently playing BW; my love goes out to Zero, Hero and Killer all of them are great and have been part of many awesome BW games and tournaments. But what makes me sad is that Mind is probably the second best Terran (Have to rate Hiya above him as he can beat Zerg and can't count Sea as he is leaving to do his required military service and IDK but sorry Mong your a boss! Just not the boss yet.....)
