there was this massive CG thing on the screens of dropships flying it focuses on one and it lands. Then, it zooms in on the hatch on the side, and the fucking CG screen opens up and Boxer is standing there, he walks down to the platform and the screen closes back up | ||

Boxer has really come a long way. It's amazing, really. It seems just like yesterday that he was getting bullied around by Summer and the other female gamers on the IS team while SiR@SoNi and ComBi laughed at him. Good times ... I still remember when Savior was a rookie on the G.O team when they were still sponsored by SUMA. He was a pretty quiet, chubby kid. SoNiC)BlacK sat next to him at the G.O house and said that he practiced more than most of the aces on the G.O and KTF teams. Seeing how much he's changed and how far he's come, it's really incredible. Yellow ... I think he gained the most female fans in the shortest amount of time in progaming history. I still remember his first appearance on CU@Battle.net, the studio went nuts with screaming fangirls. During his matches around that time, their screams would even distort the audio a little. He's really awesome +_+ Ack, sorry for rambling. It was just the way Boxer entered the stage on that Dropship that made me think back to how things used to be and how much they've changed ... I watched Boxer's first person view in the third game and he was definitely trying. I can't comment on the first and second games but game three Boxer was out for blood and he just didn't have what it took (although his strategy was still too cutsey) | ||

Boxer didn't play as he usually does because of Savior. This is why Savior is a true master. Regular gosus have good play, and they outplay their opponents. Era-defining Super gosus, however, not only outplay their opponents, but they dictate the other player's play. Players like Nada and oov in their prime, and currently Savior, have the ability to impose the big picture that they want upon the other player. Savior, in particular, has such murcurial timing and tech switching that it's hard to see exactly what he does great. This is also because he's a Zerg. With Boxer, Nada, and oov in their prime, us fans could sorta see what they were doing by watching their Build Orders and overall strategy. Savior, however, has this incredible, shapeless, zerg-like je ne sais quoi. I can't really see what he does every game. All I know is that every game, Savior seems to have just the right amount of expos, from which he produces just the right amount of just the right kind of units to win battles one by one. And this way, he prevents his opponent from executing their game plan. Boxer, I'm sure, had prepared his own game plans for each map. But Savior has that special ability, the same ability that Boxer once had, to force his opponent to stray from the prepared game plan into unknown territory. All I want to say is: if it looks like Boxer played exceptionally poorly today, it's only because Savior is that damn good. | ||

Boxer lost to ShinHwa[Name] but there is no chance in hell that that idiot is better than BoxeR. No one is close at the moment to acheving what Boxer has acheived in BW. Winning a couple of games doesn't equate you to Boxer. Boxer redefined playing starcraft, and no one is close to doing that again, not for some time atleast | ||

Oh I remember so well how he kept insisting that Chojja has much better ZvT, and sadly some people were so stupid they actually believed him. Look now at the damage Savior has wreaked upon a player who stands as not only one of the all-time greats, but as one of the strongest Terrans of the moment. Savior is not god, but if god played Starcraft, he would embody himself in Savior. It seems like only Zerg players have a "reasonable" chance of beating Savior, and nonetheless, Savior has a 9-8 record against Chojja, the best ZvZ player in the world. | ||
