CJ Media, owner of the CJ ENTUS progaming team and also many cable channels in Korea, is planning its own progaming related content. Instead of tournament-style leagues, CJ Media will produce monthly "Superfights", K-1 style player vs player grudge match match-ups.
The first Superfight will occur on October 3rd, Tuesday, 17:00 Korea time. It will be held in COEX Pacific Exhibition Hall

Boxer enrolls in October 9th, so this will probably be the last chance to see him in action before he joins the Korean armed forces.
These matches will be broadcasted live over a number of CJ Media's channels: XTM (action movie channel), Xsports (sports), Mnet (music MTV-style), in addition to GomTV (online streaming broadcasting) and Naver (internet portal broadcasting). .

Yeah sorry fixed the date.
And I'm pretty sure it will be Best of Five. All five games will not be played if not necessary. CJ wants this to be a serious competition, not some event match.

Yeah. What pdk meant was 6 to 10 PROFESSIONAL STAGE games, not 6 to 10 normal practice games. 6 to 10 normal practice games is nothing. But 6 to 10 games against two of the world's top ZvT gamers is not easy.

I don't see it happening. He has to skill up far beyond anything he ever achieved yet. So it's not just a matter of getting back into top form, but seeing if he even has what it takes to be as good as todays pros.

I predict boxer losing to savior with a quite impressive play from boxer in one of the games, so it would be 1-3 or even 2-3 (ok, 1 win will be strongly boxerish while the second one will be straight tvz win because of the map)
I also predict boxer winning over yellow with a usual 3-2 result. This time they both will play it the way fans would appreciate the most. Because they are pros and they are Gods.
But seriosly boxer can pull even a 3-0 win over savior out of his God's ass. Just because he's so un-fucking-predictable and cool. Holy crap, i love this man.

I'm curious what will happen. Here are a few things that I thought of..
Arkanoid is played twice and neither player has played a pro game on Arkanoid. Savior, currently being his normal self couldn't man up for OSL, and plays on MSL maps. Boxer... got beat by FBH and Bisu and failed -_______-;;
So Arkanoid will be key... and I have no idea what Boxer will do on Arkanoid without 8 rax. T.T
Tau Cross, I expect the king of all bunker rushes... but I'm really looking forward most of all to arkanoid...

Arkanoid I'm expecting Boxer to 2 port, just like Midas vs July. Seems very strong on that map, especially with Boxer's micro.

I'm inviting some friends and watch those games live on TV (via TV out), so i just wanted to ask if it's sure this thing is broadcasted via afreeca or something else?

Afreeca just announced that foreigners have to pay to watch channels. So it will be broadcasted via afreeca but you won't be able to watch it.

You'll be able tow atch on afreeca. Pay to watch starts on teh tenth.

Does anyone plan to put the VODs on the tracker afterward? The only reason why I ask is because it is on different channels... I'm assuming someone has access to them anyway?

They will im sure of it. Koreans are king of pirating anything. All the vods will be out on clubbox after the games.

The game was played in the MBC Survivor League (before they changed their format). Boxer built a rax in the corner of Savior's main, built firebats, and tried to rape drones, but Savior reacted extremely quickly, and didn't lose a single drone. I think Boxer also had wraiths in that game, and it was pretty one-sided.
