Games may be postponed between players IF the postponement is scheduled at least 12 hours ahead of the match time and both captain were notified.
This is the rule as I currently have it. Unless you did so (notified more than 12 hr in advance) in some other media and can prove it ProForward, I'm going to have to honor NW decision to take the walkovers. I'm not thrilled about it, but those are the stated rules as we currently have them.
There may be revisions in the future though.

However, in this instance, there are still massive issues with people and figuring out time zones. It's partially my fault as it's a known fact that people cannot handle time zones and I should have posted clearly and explicitly for everyone when they ought to have shown up.
What this means for you though is that I'm not considering mSj to have been late (I'm taking some of the responsibly for lack of clarity with times), and thus their isn't grounds to take a walkover. If you cannot play any other time of the week, you'll either have to forfeit or have your captain replace you.

Winning team sends replays to drits5@yahoo.com following the matches. All 5 replays must be put into one zip/compressed file for download
I need these replays so that when/if complaints arise, or there are questions about a players skill, or any other situation that arises (not to mention I can't give the replays to casters) I can have everything right there for easy review.

As far as this weeks (Saturday 6th) matches go the replays must be in my inbox by 12 hours before the start of the upcoming weeks DRTL match (i.e. Wk5 reps MUST be submitted to the DRTL email by 12 hours before the start of week 6 matches. Failure to do so will result in a 0-3 loss for your team for the week in which replays were not sent.

I don't see how any of that is Dazed_spy's fault, and why he should get punished in the least for the other team showing up late. It is the player's responsibility for showing up on time. He isn't even required to accept a postponement in the first place.

I don't think there was any talk of punishment for Dazed. He left, and either couldn't/didn't want to stay to play his match. He says he is busy the rest of the week and thus won't be playing the match anyway. Having someone replace him if he can't play doesn't punish anyone, as they weren't going to be playing regardless.

I dont see how time zone confusion is an over and above excuse relative to any other, from sickness, family issues, plain forgetfulness or maliciousness. Its entirely random to say that MSJ players shouldnt be held accountable but others clearly have been. They have every intellectual capability to understand clear instructions.
edit: And I left after abitstar told me I should take the walkover, because pururu hadnt shown up at all.

To rephrase that, I don't see why his team should be punished (by taking away their right to a walkover), even though the other team wasn't responsible enough to know what time they are supposed to show up. With the mSj/walkover ordeal, I agree with dazed_spy in that taking the W/O is good negative reinforcement for mSj to not only show up on time, but also do other things necessary for the league like submitting lineups on time and checking the thread often. Plus, he DID say mSj's captain even told him to take the walkover...
European players didn't need to change anything, they just needed to show up at the same time they always do, so I don't see what the problem is. It doesn't take more than 3 minutes to come to teamliquid.net and check a damn thread either.
@ghrur: Taeyeon doesn't' have an iCCup ID, but I can PM you his Skype ID, or Birdie would get back to you on you vs him.
