If you don't want to play all 5 games because you've already won the first 3, that's fine with me. However, I include the scores of all 5 games if they are played into the standings for playoffs. That means even if you've won the first 3, you can still gain 2 more points if you win the last 2 games as well.
*If a match is not completed because 1-2 games are still under postponement, please indicate that. I can't enter anything into Liquipedia, or have people cast games, if 1. I don't know the results, and 2. We have no replays.
Also, even if you've PM'd Lmaster the results/replays, post results or something in the thread. He's busy and can't update everything, and I have no life and constantly hounding for replays/results.
If you can send replays my way, i can have a match or 2 casted on monday, 1 casted on wednesday and 1 casted on thursday.

Also, + Show Spoiler +if you don't want to play the set that's fine, I'm still debating how to score past 3 wins. Maybe I misinterpreted what Lmaster said to me when I asked him about it. He told me it would be "more fun for players if its counted for personal stats". While I took that as to mean just play all 5 matches, maybe he meant it as just play the extra matches for fun if you want to and that they won't be counted.
edit: thinking back, I think scoring wise it would make more sense to just take first 3 wins, and not count the rest. Makes for less potential arguments. I'm still quite undecided on this.

Sorry for all the indecisiveness.
If you don't want to play the extra games, and both players agree, it won't be counted in the team standings. However, if one of the players still want to play it, I feel you should be obligated to play them and report the results.
Just know that playing the extra games will help the teams aiming for the 4th playoff spot.

Game 5 of Sunk Khan vs. Phoenix hasn't been played yet due to some confusion on our end about the time of the PP, so we've requested a counter-PP and are awaiting resolution on that. Will not post results until we have ALL games as it says above.

I will always distribute replays to casters once I have them. It's significantly less messy that way and ensures I can keep track of things.
Remember to have all matches organized and played by Thursday. That is the deadline UNLESS you have specifically set up a pp time well ahead of schedule because no prior day works and I am informed of this.

Yes. If both players agreed not to play for a match that doesn't count toward the overall victory/loss then that is fine. Obviously if the series is tied 2:2 then the game need to be played.

So there was talk of the league being bo7, but the first two weeks have been bo5. I changed the liquipedia article to reflect this a while back. Is it safe to assume that the matches will remain bo5? I mean, I'd think so since there already seem to be a metric fuckton of issues regarding organization/scheduling/walkovers, but I just want to make sure.

The poll ended pretty even between Bo5 and Bo7, I don't think there is any reason to suspect that Bo7 will happen this season.

The Bo5's right now is hard to finish all as it is... A Bo7 will just make everything harder on those that can't keep up.

Anyway, my point is I highly doubt "logic and reason" were the "guiding factors" for supporting bo7.

One of the smallest teams housing some lesser-known players in DR on Team Liquid being able to field a full line-up despite having a losing record, every week, sounds like a logical appeal to me. If one team can do it, what prevents other teams from manning up and doing it too? Organization, motivation, etc. Of course those pitfalls are present, but in my eyes there was no need to preemptively penalize large and well-organized teams for the faults of those that lacked those qualities. Don't get me wrong, I've been a captain of a team that had fallen to these issues in the past. But, with the promising state of the league at the start, with so many players and seemingly better-organized teams, it felt like it could be a valid option. More games for more players sounds like a pretty logical step in a league.
